This is a beautiful canyon with an easy hike. You can find springs and pools nestled into the palm trees.

A box canyon out in the desert. Large boulders and normally a good sized pool of water. Hiking and climbing. And a zip line normally on the weekends. Bring water/ lunch and enjoy!

This is a canyon in the Sierra Aguaje managed by an ejido as a natural reserve. There is plenty of parking, and with a 50 pesos entrance fee you can hike along a riparian habitat lined with native Mexican fan palms - a true oasis. Zip-lining across the ravine is also offered. For a hiking that is off the beaten path that will provide a perspective unlike anything you will find in "tourist brochures" check out the experience offered on Airbnb where you hike with a biologist!
