A beautiful lake with a small beach only a short walk away. It offers numerous activities including picturesque walks, fishing and during summer, aqua sports & bar/restaurant.

Ce lieu unique vous permettra de vous reposer et de visiter une région riche en patrimoine et en activités (une abbaye d exception, le Futuroscope, la vallée de la Gartempe…). Le gîte dispose d un bassin naturel (10X12m) d un potager, d un verger bio, d un terrain de pétanque et d un jardin à l abris des regards.

Chaillac Self contained Studio

The studio is five minutes walk to the centre of Chaillac, with its bars, restaurants and supermarket. Walk the other way and you are at the lake, with its beach and picnic areas. Free parking. The studio has a private entrance, and is up one flight of stairs. We provide a double bed, and a sofa bed, kitchen, dining lounge area and a separate shower room. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave, two ring hob and kettle. The television has French channels, but has hdmi and USB ports.

Op loopafstand (ca.600m) de rivier Le Gartempe waar genoeg plekjes zijn om een frisse duik te nemen. De fietser kan ook zijn hart ophalen. Voor de mountainbiker (eventueel beschikbaar), tourfietser en recreatiefietser zijn er ontelbare mogelijkheden door de bossen, langs de rivier of door het landschap. Voor de wandelaars onder ons zijn de mogelijkheden te over. Voor de paardrijders is er een manege op een paar kilometer. Voor cultuur en ontspanning in de buurt raad ik Ivo's reisgids aan.

Notre maison de vacances se trouve aux portes du Parc National de la Brenne, à 330 km de la Porte d'Auteuil à Paris. Ancien pavillon de chasse de 250 m2 implanté dans un parc de 2 hectares paysagé, la maison est parfaitement équipée. Elle a été entièrement restaurée en 2014. Aménagée dans un style assez contemporain, elle offre, été comme hiver, un cadre apaisant en pleine nature. La piscine (9x4) est en béton, chauffée à 25 degrés de mai à septembre.

The cottage overlooks and accesses the river, where swimming is possible. The hamlet is very peaceful, and the water is a great place to relax! A walk can be enjoyed from the cottage, along a path along the Vienne River. You can reach Chauvigny on foot or by bike along the trails. There are a few chickens on the grounds. Nightly rate: €52 without sheets + €8 sheets to be paid in advance if needed.

La cabane est parfaite pour les couples mais ravira aussi les voyageurs en solo et même les teletravailleurs en quête de calme.
