“Helens place is all about finding beauty in every corner every wall. If you have an eye for detail and want a typical English stay then there no other place better than hers! Consider yourself very lucky if you get to stay with her and endure the embroidered cousins, old cutlery, Victorian furniture, comfortable beds and sofas, books to read and things to learn from Helen. She was just an air-bnb host to us but after our one night stay with her she feels much more than just that. Hosting us with warmth and making sure we see places close by she took us girls on a drive to the race course told us so much about WW2 and we had wine before going to bed and in between binged on Netflix! It was a sneak peek not only to a beautiful home but also an exchange of cultures. Helens mom wasn’t keeping well in spite of that she went out of her way for us. Those of you going to THORPE PARK must know that this is a 10 min walk from the park. We came back drenched in rain water with dirty muddy shoes and she told us not to take off our shoes outside I did not want to dirty her beautiful carpets with my dirty shoes but she made sure I don’t walk bare feet! That was so sweet.. home from home”

Private parking for you. We are retired and will be on hand to welcome and assist you to settle in for your stay. We pride ourselves on having a clean and tidy house. We do have two small dogs (who do not go upstairs) and are very well behaved. Close to Jct 11 M25, M3 and Heathrow.
“The bedroom was spacious and benefitted from a lavatory just outside it (for my sole use). There were very thoughtful gestures such as making my bed and coffee and tea making facilities. A personalised welcome note was left in my room giving information- including the all important WiFi password. Cooking facilities were excellent - although I confess I was very lazy this week and had cold or microwaveable food. Both hosts (and their lovely dogs) were very pleasant and friendly and I thoroughly felt relaxed in their house. Thanks for allowing me to stay, I hope to again in the future.”
