Jay was a great host. Since I was a new profile, we went through a vetting process, including sharing my LinkedIn profile, but after that, everything went smoothly. The property is beautiful, with a lot of personality, especially when you look down into the kitchen from the main family room. The kitchen is well-equipped with utensils, cutlery, cookware, and spices for meals, and has a fantastic stove. Some dials were finicky, and the middle grill burner wasn’t working, but we still made it work. The hot tub was perfect for the cold weather, and we appreciated the pool towels provided. We also enjoyed the Christmas decorations upon arrival. Overall, we loved our stay—the place had so much charm. On a final note, we’d definitely visit again. If the mattresses were replaced with higher-quality ones, something more comfortable, it would elevate the experience.

if your ever out in Carleton place they all say the Mississippi dripped off of Big Joe's face and also Scott has the best airbnb in the area! had a wonderful stay. went to Ottawa for the hockey playoffs and I had car trouble, Scott allowed me to use his truck since I had car trouble! absolutely above and beyond in all aspects. so generous and so thankful I stayed here. hot tub was so relaxing, and the loft style home is great for all -kids, guys, girls but is a gamers paradise especially if you grew up in the 80s and 90s! don't look further than Scotts place in Carleton place! I felt like family! 😆😊 incredibly thankful for Scott's generosity and I will be back anytime I'm out that way. This host and place shatters the 5 star scale just too bad we didn't win the game or would of been the perfect getaway. cheers Scott! you are the man!

Great private place that offers everything you want for a weekend getaway! Host was very helpful and responded within minutes to all our questions. Highly recommended!

We had such a lovely, restorative weekend here! The beds were comfy, the house is beautiful, everything is organized and fully equipped! Highly recommend this place and Erica, who was so lovely to work with!

The house is spacious and so are the rooms. The kitchen had everything beautifully equipped. We enjoyed our stay, even though during the winter there’s not much to do in the area. The only downside was the rooms in the basement didn’t have any heater working, we used the fireplace in the basement on high to warm the rooms as much as possible. As we were two families with kids, we would have liked to have at least a hand vacuum available and not just a broom as it’s a big space and would have made it easier to clean while around. The bed pillows need changing as they were very uncomfortable to sleep on. But all in all a beautiful house, just needs a little touch up to add its spark back.

We had a great stay here! Very easy to access and had a clean and welcoming atmosphere upon arrival. We loved all the cozy corners throughout the house and the property to sit and chat and play board games together. The fenced backyard was a huge plus for the two dogs in our crew, and we thoroughly enjoyed the back patio. With it being winter, we didn't get to enjoy the pool or basketball court, but even without access to those amenities, Liz's AIrbnb was the place to be (and would be even more so in the summer I can imagine!)

We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! Very cozy place. i enjoyed my stay. Only issue was bell going off at church at 11pm not sure if that's every night or just due to the fact it was Christmas Eve, I would still be back. The bedroom upstairs was so relaxing. I felt safe and comfy. I will come back in the summer when I can get out and enjoy the weather. see you again!

We’re 4 moms that needed a break from the everyday and this house was perfect. A bedroom for each of us, lots of space to spread out, walking distance to town. We had such a great time. Thank you Marianne for such a lovely stay.

Hosts are very responsive and helpful, the place is lovely, extremely clean, has all amenities and looks even better than the photos. I have stayed there twice and would stay again!!!!

This is our second visit and it won't be our last. This is a wonderful place - it's quiet, comfortable, with great amenities and a terrific back yard. The location made it easy to take day trips around the county. We highly recommend it!

Thank you Salina for being such a great host. We were in town for a hockey tournament and stayed at Salina's with another family of 4. The size of the house was perfect for our party of 8. It was nice to be so close to the arena and have a spot to come back too so we could cook meals in between and after games. Salina was very responsive when we had questions and kindly took time to send us an item through the mail that we forgot when we left. We would definitely stay here again if hockey brings us back to this area. Cheers

The location is great, just a few minutes drive from Sandbanks. Stephanie and Donny were very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house is spacious and well equipped, and the outside area is nice and comfortable. The beds were not very comfortable, but other than that everything was great!

Beautiful lake house!!! Very spacious!! A group of moms/friends had a fantastic night away and the lake house was perfect! The view from the deck was amazing! Steph was an excellent host! Very walkable into the town of Wellington!

My family and I, including a 4yr old and 4 month old, stayed at Trevor and Rachel’s Airbnb on the way to and from Montreal as a halfway point from Toronto. It was perfect. There were thoughtful toys including a dollhouse and arts and crafts supplies for our toddler. We needed the slumberpod in this space to get our infant to sleep as the abundance of windows makes this space bright and challenging to darken sufficiently for baby sleep. It was quiet and peaceful. The hosts were promptly responsive with a bed concern that was solved immediately. We will make this our stopover every time on the Toronto to Montreal route to break it up with small children. A haven for families.

In the ten plus years that my husband and I have been using AirBnB we can both honestly say that Sami’s home ranks in the top for us in terms of (1) value (2) communication and (3) accommodations. The property is simply super nicely setup with multiple modern considerations. The house is very cozy and welcoming which made us feel right at home. However, the best part was the communication. Sami was up front and forward with communication. They were simple, and he provided us lists and resources for restaurants and things to do locally. Even more, he was super accommodating in terms of flexibility—by far the most helpful we have EVER seen. We give Sami the absolute highest rating that we possibly can. 11/10!

If you’re looking to recharge and reconnect this is an amazing place to stay. Internet availability but free of TV and in a quiet, private lot in Prince Edward county, close to the main city so easy to pick up any needed supplies and very close to a distillery and brewery. The host is very responsive and the unit is as advertised. We had a wonderful stay and would consider coming back and recommending to others.

The Welsh House is a wonderful place to stay in Picton. Its location is just steps to Main St and manages to be both peaceful and extremely walkable to much of town. Jane is a gracious host: responsive, thoughtful, kind and this is apparent through each communication, recommendation and even in details throughout her lovely heritage home. Our family stayed last minute on a long weekend and the way Jane treated us, you would have thought we had booked well in advance. It was a very nice trip and a huge part of that was because of The Welsh House. Thank you, Jane!

For our curling team and coach and meal planners Walter’s place was perfect. The bed arrangements were just as described and everything we needed was at the house. Walter always answered us when we needed something and was very fast to always respond. Would definitely stay here again for our next event.

We really enjoyed our stay at Acadia House! The house was very spacious with plenty of room for our family of 5 and had a large, beautiful yard. The location was great, very close to Sandbanks and Picton. Our kids loved the basketball net and hammock. I loved that the house offered recycling and backyard composting, washer/dryer. This was a great place to stay in PEC and we would highly recommend it.

Our stay at Ponle's was great! Would stay again and would highly recommend! The only downside is not having access to a washer and dryer for those longer stays but there was a very clean laundry mat about 4 min away.

Perfect Executive Cottage with Waterfront Access! We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home. The house is spacious and luxurious, with an open-concept layout and amazing high ceilings in the living room that made it feel even more grand and inviting. It was the perfect blend of an upscale executive retreat and a cozy waterfront cottage. The entire place was impeccably clean, with all the amenities we could ask for—everything from a fully equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and plenty of space for our group to relax and unwind. The host was extremely thoughtful and accommodating, allowing us full access to all the amenities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. They were also very responsive, providing toys for the kids and anything else we requested, making sure we had everything we needed. I can't recommend this property enough! Whether you're looking for a place to work remotely or simply want a relaxing weekend getaway, this home offers the best of both worlds!

I was taken aback at the attention to detail with the actual amenities that are available from staples in the kitchen, cooking utensils, loaded utility closets, utility drawers (flashlights, batteries, duct tape) bathroom essentials, laundry, sewing kit, lint rollers, EVERYTHING! I stayed three weeks and cooked full meals, was thrilled to have a dishwasher and dining table. I enjoyed a thoroughly comfortable stay in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. Would love to stay again in the summer so I could use the grill! Thank you Dana!
