The house has a heat pump, wood stove, dishwasher, cable TV, Wi-Fi and a trampoline in the garden. The house is clean and tidy. Electricity and water consumption will be charged at the end of the stay. You can do the cleaning yourself and leave the house as received or purchase it for DKK 750.

Hugely charming wooden house located on 5000 m2 of undisturbed surroundings overlooking a scenic and protected area with heathland. Occasionally, a deer or two will stop by. The house is located on the eastern part of the island in the Kromose area. A quiet beach facing the Wadden Sea to the east, which is part of UNESCO's natural heritage, is only 500 meters walking distance on a path. Enjoy your morning coffee and tranquility on one of the lovely terraces or on the covered terrace. There is a great opportunity to see the northern lights in the winter months.

Historically protected merchant's farm

The old grocery farm is built in 1760. Exciting listed building. Located in the historic center of Højer, it bears witness to the time when marsh farmers served well on the trade of oxen abroad. The house is characterized by its age and has many original elements such as baroque doors, Dutch tiles. The part that is rented as a holiday home is about 100m2. You enter from the garden side in Dielen (transverse hallway) from here there is access to living room (Pissel) bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. The garden is non-toxic and sheltered.

Stay at the Old School in Ellum

Feel the wings of history when you stay at this over 100-year-old school. Experience the most beautiful sunsets, when the weather permits, in the bright southwest-facing apartment. The area offers a lot of lovely nature, with forests and rivers, as well as lovely eateries. The building also houses a shop, tailor workshop & private residence. You will be staying close to the Wadden Sea, which is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Højer is worth a visit with the beautiful old houses and the small streets with sights such as Højer mill, Højer sluse, arts and crafts. The home: Ground floor contains a small kitchen, hallway with stairs to 1st floor, bathroom with shower, 1 bedroom with double bed, dining room, and TV room. TV with the option to cast. 1st floor, small toilet, two bedrooms with double beds. You bring your own bed linen and towels.

Halmhuset - The Straw House

Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

You can relax and start excursions in the area. The house is in an idyllic location on the Marschwanderweg. The apartment is located in a house half that is separately accessible to the guests. It offers a lounge area, a reading corner, a kitchen, 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The hosts live in the other half of the house. In the guest garden you can relax or let off steam on the trampoline. An additional room in the passage area has been added.
