North Sea air and sauna! Our detached vacation home "Dat Melkhus" was built in 1870 and is located in a small settlement with a quiet neighborhood. Here, at the turn of the century, butter was made by hand for the surrounding communities. Today, the once small house has been expanded to 140 square meters of living space and has been lovingly renovated by us since 2022. The property is located in the middle of the idyll, surrounded by countless fields and a breathtaking view into the distance. The sea or the nearest swimming area is 5-10 minutes away by car. Meldorf is the nearest town, about 10 minutes by car, where, for example, shopping can be done.

A newly covered, local thatched roof, the restoration of the old dormer and a careful approach to the expansion in order to preserve as much as possible - that was important to us and characterizes this unique building. Unfortunately, we are not suitable for party groups!

"Blockhütte" Quellental in wonderful surroundings

Welcome to our little log cabin! The accommodation is part of our Quellental forest estate in Odderade, Dithmarschen district and is located in the middle of a forest clearing, nestled in a picturesque pond area. Our forestry operation is part of the largest forest area on the North Sea coast, the Riesewohld. Here, 700 hectares of partly uncultivated, natural forest invite you to linger and explore.

Sanderling Vacation Home

Our spacious Danish-style vacation home is located on the Eiderstedt peninsula and is located in the idyllic village of Kating. The nearly 500 m² property offers an unobstructed view of the sheep meadows opposite and of fantastic sunsets. The single-story vacation home "Sanderling" can accommodate up to 4 people and has a living area of 65 m² plus an outdoor terrace and garden.

The house can be booked for 4 people. Cozy and warm with a stove and sauna. The beach and shopping are within walking or cycling distance. You'll love my place because of the peace and quiet and the good air and the mile-wide views over the fields as well as the pristine condition. My place is suitable for couples, solo travelers, and families.
