Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Torfaen Principal Area

Our family stayed here for a long bank holiday weekend while attending a family wedding. Our party consisted of a number of adults and kids, including babies/toddlers, and the house was just brilliant for us all. The children loved playing with all the many toys and games, as well as the outdoor play area. The house was itself beautiful and immaculate with great views. Practically perfect. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home in Wales! The house was spotless — genuinely one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed. Everything felt fresh, modern, and thoughtfully put together, with all the comforts of home. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and kindly offered us a later checkout at the last minute, which made our departure day so much more relaxed. It’s clear they really care about their guests’ experience. Would 100% recommend and would love to stay again!

We had a brilliant stay at Primrose Cottage in Upper Cwmbran—absolutely perfect for our little family getaway with our 3-year-old and our dog. The place was unbelievably tidy, with comfy beds and spotless linen. The smart TV was a nice bonus. We loved the sunny front garden—great spot for morning coffee or eating outside and the views are incredible. It’s in a lovely quiet area with super friendly neighbours and just a short walk to two great pub restaurants. There are loads of nearby dog walks, and the boating lake was a real highlight for our 3 year old. It was ideal being close to family, and Barry Island is just an hour away by train, making for a great day out. Honestly couldn’t fault it—would absolutely stay again!

Gem of a cottage in a fantastic location. We had a wonderful stay in Ruth’s house. They really put LOADS of thought into updating and decorating the space. It’s cozy and lovely and interesting, but also easy to be in and functional. Every room has a colour palette, and Ruth really knows how to stick to a theme (I was taking notes). Besides that, the house just happened to be a 5 minute walk from the glorious Cwmcarn Forest, which is not to be missed if you like running, walking, biking, playgrounds, BBQs by a lake, or lovely visitors Centers with helpful staff and a cafe that serves a full breakfast. There are also adventures to be had in every direction, from the Big Pit mine to the coast to Cardiff. We hope to return.

We had a lovely stay Ty Pentref. The house is light and airy, with lots of space. It is full of all the essentials, and then some. A comfy bed, clean kitchen and big sofa. The garden is a lovely suntrap in the afternoon too. Ty Pentref is walking distance to Cwmcarn Forest as well as plenty of other beautiful walks, just on your doorstep. We will definitely be back again!

The house was very comfortable with everything we needed. The host answered all our questions promptly. There was useful information about what to do and where to eat. We had a great time celebrating a significant birthday with family and friends, in a very pretty part of Wales.

Booked last minute before the Newport Marathon and it was exactly what I needed. Ann was very welcoming and kindly left out coffee and juice to help fuel the run! The annexe is nice and private and has everything you'd need. Car/bus needed to get into Cardiff.

A quiet and tranquil stay. Check-in was easy and hands-off but Jacqueline was always within reach if we needed. Good location to explore Abergavenny and the eastern reaches of Brecon Beacons.

Rob is a great host who definitely made that extra effort to make us welcome, and leaving us in no doubt that if we did needed anything he would be there to help. His apartment was immaculately clean and tidy and just as it was described, we were not disappointed. The location of the property to city center is excellent just being a short walk away. The secured on site parking was also worry free and very convenient. We all enjoyed our weekend stay at Rob's greatly, and look forward to returning in the future.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Liz's and would highly recommend if you're ever in Cardiff. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and we made use of it. I was also able to do some work with a desk and good internet connection. it was wonderfully decorated and we found ourselves distracted by all the artwork surrounding us. Liz was a fantastic host and we'd recommend to anyone.

Only stayed 1 night at Kay’s, really lovely place. The scenery and river are beautiful. There were so many welcoming touches such as milk in the fridge, breakfast items etc

This is our second stay at Andrew’s place and we can’t recommend it enough! It is in a very walkable location to the busy areas of Cardiff and the train station which makes it a perfect choice for staying in town for an event/concert. We felt very comfortable in our stay and the beds were a comfortable nights sleep! All of the facilities were as described and we had the perfect night’s sleep after a busy day! Andrew was a perfect host who responded quickly with any inquiries and I will not hesitate to book this airbnb again when I come back for an event in Cardiff! Thank you Andrew for your hospitality! Lovely little cottage attached to the host’s house in Taff’s Well- great location for getting into Cardiff. Felt very comfortable- yes it is next to the railway but the trains rush by in a flash and the bedroom’s on the furthest side of the property away from the tracks, so you don’t really notice it and it didn’t stop us getting to sleep. Robert was really responsive and very welcoming- we’d definitely consider staying again!

My husband and I had a great time over Easter. Fab walks from the doorstep both up the mountains and low level and also very beautiful surroundings. Walked to the local pub, friendly and good food. Liz and Steve were also friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return.

A beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable and everything you could possibly need for a short stay. The hosts have very thoughtfully anticipated everything their guests might need. Furnished and equipped to a high standard. Really excellent value for money, so much nicer than staying in a pokey hotel but a similar price. Just perfect, thank you.

I stayed here whilst attending a conference at Celtic Manor. It was an ideal location with the added benefit of free parking. The apartment was beautifully presented and had everything that I needed for a four night stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed meeting the friendly dogs and spending time watching the swallows swooping outside. A peaceful and memorable getaway!

Kevin's place was great. you couldn't find a more central location to explore Cardiff. He was extremely responsive, replying within minutes to any questions and offered many suggestions on what to do and see in Cardiff.

Very convenient. Worked well for a lastminute trip to do some walking in the brecon beacons.
