The Fisherman's Cottage

This house is on the ground floor in the historic center of Mola di Bari. It was renovated in 2015 by recovering two rooms used in the past as a storage for the fishing nets of one of the most famous fishermen in the area: my father. It has two entrances: a main one on Via Duomo 19 and a secondary one. It is close to restaurants, the sea, pharmacies, bars and nightlife. Located immediately outside Bari Vecchia, at the intersection of the two most important streets of Bari (Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and Via Sparano) the Observatory is in a strategic area. The apartment, located on the tenth and top floor of one of the tallest buildings in Bari, is completely independent and offers a breathtaking view of the old city and the sea. This building was first used a cannon house and throughout the following years served as a warehouse, a coal pit and an atelier of a renowned local painter. Today our family is committed to reviving this building and its history, providing guests with a unique and comfortable stay in the heart of Puglia.
