Our house is located in Brejos da Carregueira de Cima, a 5-minute drive away from the beaches of Comporta, Carvalhal and Pego. You can also rent a bike nearby and access secluded beaches which are not easily accessible by car. The well preserved natural reserve of pine forest right in front of our house is perfect for a morning walk.

7 Boxes House is an architect's house inspired by the traditional architecture of the area, in the Carrasqueira Palafitic Pier, a structure of wooden pillars and beams that supports a walkway that gives access to small buildings on one side and the other, where fishermen keep their fishing utensils. The house is built on sand, elevated above the ground using wooden piles. It is made up of seven wooden volumes, arranged on both sides of the walkway that joins them.

A private heated pool is surrounded by a spacious patio area. Two loungers with light fabric cushions are positioned beneath a large striped umbrella, offering shade. A cooler with drinks and glasses is set nearby, while a yellow and white buoy floats in the water.
