Swedish lake house between Vimmerby and Västervik

Just over 15 minutes outside Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby and about 30 minutes from the coastal town of Västervik, you will find this place with its own garden and beach (shared with the host). The view of the lake creates conditions for wonderful nature experiences - all year round! In winter, lovely fires warm you and in summer, the lake cools you! With a canoe (rented by the host), you can experience Kalmar County's largest lake with only the sound of the paddles heard and have the opportunity to see protected animals, ranging from sea eagles to otters.

Suitable for one or more families to live together (in the same company). 10 beds are included in the basic price - if more are desired: ask in booking. Large kitchen with all equipment you could wish for. You have four bedrooms where you can choose how to distribute your number of beds (two downstairs in the file and two separate upstairs). Cozy farmhouse in Spångenäs, Tuna 20 minutes by car from Vimmerby. With the narrow-gauge railway right next door, you can take the train to Västervik or Hultsfred. Five beds: a family bunk bed in one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Fully-equipped kitchen, shower/toilet, washing machine, satellite TV and a terrace with barbecue and morning sun. Walking distance to forest and lake with swimming area. Booking per day or week. Sheets/towels are not included but are available to rent. Clean yourself or purchase final cleaning. Pets are welcome.

Our summer cottage is located in the middle of Smålands nature near the small community of Locknevi, 27km from Vimmerby. The property is located on a very quiet rural road from where you can take wonderful bike tours and hikes in our picture book landscape. The next lake with a beach is 5 km away and the Baltic Sea is easy to reach by car. Excursions: e.g. Astrid Lindgren's birthplace, Astrid Lindgren's world, many film locations and Västervik on the archipelago

Lovingly restored century-old house on a farm
