We had a fantastic stay during the Goshogawara tachi neputa. Shirotone San is an awesome host and helped us get a spot to watch the parade. The house is a little difficult to find but you can navigate to kusushi jinja shrine which is a tiny shrine at the end of the block. The house is also within walking distance of the tachi neputa museum which is a must see! Don’t miss the second floor museum as well (beautiful artifacts). We loved staying here and enjoyed the easy access to the neputa festival and fireworks. Thank you!

I chose this place as it is near to the Sunday morning market (only 3 minute drive away). Seiki san, to my surprise, made the effort to wait outside the house and guided me to the parking area. The accommodation was quiet and private and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. He can hold simple conversations in English. English speakers do not need to worry about language barriers. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Hachinohe.
