The most unique feature of this accommodation is the one-of-a-kind “egg sauna.” This is a fully DIY sauna, developed entirely by JP, from design to production, with a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Enjoy a sauna experience you can't get anywhere else, surrounded by the gentle warmth of a wood-burning stove. The room also has a traditional Japanese hearth (irori), a characteristic feature of old Japanese houses. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as enjoying a hot pot around the irori (traditional hearth) or grilling skewers. *Please bring your own cooking utensils, such as ingredients and skewers. The accommodation is located in a quiet hamlet called Kobusa, nestled in the mountains of Misasaki City, Okayama Prefecture. This guest house was born in 2019 and is an 8-minute walk from JR Okayama Station. It is a four-story building, with the entrance on the second floor after climbing the exterior stairs, and the interior is connected to the rooftop by an internal staircase. The exterior is Western-style, but there is also a Japanese-style room with a tea room. We'd like to connect people and help introduce the area. We can make various suggestions for trips to the scenic Setouchi islands. We'll help you with deep sightseeing in Setouchi. Also, within walking distance to many museums and one of Japan's three most famous gardens, "Korakuen". Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter is 20 minutes by train, and you can take the Shinkansen for day trips to Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Kobe, and Hiroshima. Kibanohan, where the whole family can enjoy themselves freely, was taken over from a friend who had an unused house, and was selected for support from the Okayama Prefecture Regional Problem Solving Entrepreneurship Program and renovated. This facility allows you to experience the charms of Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture, including rural living experiences, accommodation, and support for those considering relocation. [Konohanou] The beginning and the idea behind the launch This project progressed with the feeling that everything was falling into place like a puzzle. The house was completed with the support of many people, and it was filled with joy and excitement without any hard work. We are having an indescribably pleasant time. I would like to invite those who are considering moving to Mimasaka City, Okayama to try living here. And I hope it will be a cozy second home for everyone. I've been doing a lot of things, like mixing a little bit of bacteria into the diatomaceous earth, burying crystal balls under the floor, and other things I've come up with.
