This detached cottage, in my backyard, is located in the heart of Zaandam, 3 minutes' walk from the Dam, 4 minutes from the cozy shopping street and 9 minutes from the Station. From the Zaans Huisje you can undertake all kinds of activities. For example, you can reach Amsterdam Central Station in 14 minutes by train and in 5 minutes towards Zaanse Schans. Please note that there is paid parking at the door. The cottage is rented for 1 person, and an extra bedroom is available for an additional fee.

The house is located near Amsterdam (30 by bike or public transport to Amsterdam Central Station) but also next to beautiful typical Dutch nature and a wind mill and close to other tourist sites like Zaanse Schans and Edam/Volendam. We recently renovated this former farm which is now a fully equipped luxurious home. It has a monumental status, which means that many of the historic features have been maintained, but with a modern touch. Is has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a brand new kitchen with all amenities (espresso machine, toaster, boretti stove, kitchen aid etc.), two living rooms (one downstairs, one upstairs including large television) and a large garden. The house is also perfect to visit with kids.

Ook is het mogelijk om een motorboot te huren of om zelf met de gratis kano het beschermd natuurgebied in te varen.
