FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Mysigt litet hus i Dala-Järna, smidigt beläget i anslutning till E16 men i lugn omgivning med egen trädgård. Huset är 56m2 med ett rymligt kök med plats för gemenskap. Tillgång till äppelträd och hallonbuskar på sommaren. Huset har två sovrum varav ett med en 160cm bred säng (möjlighet att ta isär till två 80cm sängar) och ett mindre rum med en 90cm bred våningssäng. Badrummet med dusch och toalett har även tvättmaskin. Resesäng (barnsäng) finns, behov meddelas helst dagen innan ankomst.

This is a cosy stuga without electricity and no running water built in the traditional way. There is a woodstove to heat or prepare meals as well as a 2 ring gascooker. A sleeping loft with two single matreses who can be put together. There is a outside toilet on the premises as well as a Finnish wood heated sauna . You will have to bring your own wood for the cabin and the sauna and your own towels for the sauna.
