Parking by the road, and 50 meters to walk up to the cabin above the ground. Bright and airy living room with good view and wood stove. Separate toilet and private bathroom. 5 min walk to shop and restaurant, where there is also swimming with trampoline in the water. Sjernarøy is big, so here are a lot of opportunities.

Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with opportunities for more activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater blades are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach on Notaflå is centrally located and provides swimming opportunities on a nice summer day. Also in the vicinity is the Straumen school. Here, the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand you will not find unknown Himakånå. "Straumen is the Draumen"

Nedstrand. The cabin is located close to the path to Himakånå, and has good hiking opportunities. The property is fenced, making the place safe for children. The living room window has a great sea view. Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 sleeps 3: 1 bunk bed and 1 cot with length 150 cm. Please be mindful of grazing animals outside the property. Free parking space is about 150m from the cabin, to get up you have to go a steep climb but one can drive closer to unload luggage.

Relax with family/friends in idyllic surroundings With a view to one small pond, sheep in the fields and lovely birdsong, this is one place to find peace and quiet. Here there is plenty of space for play,bonfire and barbecue. There are good sun spots all around the cabin. 15-30 min by car for all atractions at Haugalandet. For grocery shopping, the convenience store in Slåttevik is recommended, which is only 4 min away by car.

The cabin is sunny, approx. 45 minutes drive from Haugesund. It is walking distance down to the sea with its own jetty and boathouse. Boat with motor can be rented for an addition to the price. Lots of opportunities for nearby trips.

Idyllic house by the fjord, Bakkevig Gard

The house is located in scenic and peaceful surroundings close to the fjord. It is an old but modernized log house with warm and good atmosphere. Here you can relax with a good book, take a fishing trip or a nice mountain hike on several of the peaks nearby, e.g. Himakånå or Hest. It is also possible to take day trips to e.g. Preikestolen or Langfoss.

Short walk down to the sea and great hiking areas. 5 min and drive to Amanda big center, and 10 min into Haugesund city centre. Good bus connection . Host lives wall-in wall.

Large, single-floor property at the edge of the lake

Property on the seafront, with no neighbors. Easiest arrival is by boat and we have boat available. Large hiking areas in wilderness in the immediate vicinity. Good fishing possibilities in both the lake and water. Make sure they are ticking that it is possible to drive a boat out to the property.
