The house is located in a quiet and natural residential area with short walking distance to the beach, shop, ferry pier and hiking areas. Perfect for families, couples and groups of friends who want a quiet holiday with proximity to both nature and local facilities. Best suited for up to 8 people, but can accommodate 10 when using two small children's rooms with low ceiling height. Fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living room. The annex opens at 5–10 guests.

Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with opportunities for more activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater blades are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach on Notaflå is centrally located and provides swimming opportunities on a nice summer day. Also in the vicinity is the Straumen school. Here, the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand you will not find unknown Himakånå. "Straumen is the Draumen"

The living room window has a great sea view. Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 sleeps 3: 1 bunk bed and 1 cot with length 150 cm. Please be mindful of grazing animals outside the property. Free parking space is approx. 150 m from the cabin, to get up you have to walk a steep climb. A trolley suitcase is not recommended as there is a gravel road.
