Szarewood is a 19th-century cottage at the end of the road in the village of Szare, in a quiet area close to the forest, with a murmuring stream in the background. There are only two houses in the immediate vicinity, so you are more likely to meet roe deer and deer at the fence than people :) We arranged the house with early retirement in mind. However, life has changed our plans, so we want to give others a chance to feel the freedom that this place gives. If you are looking for peace and quiet and like contact with nature, this is the perfect place for you.

There are hiking trails nearby, e.g. to Rycerzowa. In the summer, in addition to mountain trips, the nearby Geo-Park Glinka is an interesting attraction.

It's also a great base for walks, mountain hikes, and bike tours along the shores of the lake. Domek znajduje się w Stryszowie, blisko Krakowa (1h), Wadowic (15min), Oświęcimia (45min) oraz Zakopanego (1h30min).
