Our place is close to beautiful meadows and hills, ideal for relaxing, hiking, going offline.... You'll love our Lydi-Hütt' because of the location, because of the little something extra, and the surroundings of our beautiful Vogelsberg. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, families (with kids), and dogs. The renovated half-timbered house is located in the hamlet of Schmitten. A hamlet is a very small residential development with approx. 10 houses. Pure idyll.

In the cold season, make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace, in the brand new infrared sauna or by the campfire.

The accommodation is a simple small vacation home in a very quiet location on the edge of a vacation resort. The cottage has two small bedrooms, each with a double bed, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. It is equipped with everything you need to live and relax.

Exclusive apartment in Hoher Vogelsberg

Feldkrücken, near Ulrichstein, is a small, non-touristy, very quiet place near the highest mountain in the Vogelsberg, the Hoher Rodkopf, 4 kilometers away. Up there, not only a wonderful panoramic view, but also a well-run restaurant with excellent cuisine offers some attractions, such as a summer toboggan run, a climbing forest, or treetop trail. There are of course also many hiking trails, including a volcano hiking trail.

The old coin

The house is over 500 years old, was completely newly renovated in 1994 sustainably and with style-appropriate materials yet also modern. It is a closed courtyard surrounded by old stone walls and lots of plants, great for children and animals. Sheikh House "Living in a historic barn"

More than 20 years ago we bought the Scheiche House, a detached house in the beautiful Vogelsberg volcanic region. Formerly, the farmhouse consisted of a residential house, a stable and the barn. We have both worked in tourism and long run a holiday village. When we retired, we decided it was impossible without guests! We have always dreamed of renovating the old barn of our house – and now it was the right time.
