Hemingways was the perfect retreat for my partner and i, the location and bnb is even more beautiful in person. Fifi was a great host, she went above and beyond with the small thoughtful touches that make it feel like home. We would love to come back!

Already looking at when I can return for another stay. Private and tranquil yet 10min or less drive to local attractions. So relaxing, we did not want to leave.

So peaceful and relaxing with everything you need for a short term or long term stay - immaculately clean and beautifully manicured and maintained surroundings. Lots of room throughout the house and outdoors. It was only my hubby and I staying but would accommodate a family very easily. Michael and Lydia are lovely hosts who answered any queries we had within minutes. Totally enjoyed our stay and will definitely put on our 'stay again' list! Thank you Michael and Lydia. ❤️

A great spot for nature lovers. We saw a platypus almost as soon as we walked to the viewing spot over the river! Yu and Yayoi were both apologetic for the rain (it's not called the Wet Tropics for nothing) but the weather did nothing to diminish the beautiful surrounds. The property itself was clean, well-equipped and great value, a short drive from both Malanda and Yungaburra.
