It is set in its own grounds and is within walking distance of the award-winning Black Lion Inn. Accommodating up to 6 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a double sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen, wood burner for cosy nights in and dining opening onto the brook-side terrace, it provides the perfect Peak Park getaway. Cuckoostone Barn is an excellent base to explore the wonders of the Peak District National Park, with amazing walks and cycle routes on the doorstep, or a place to simply relax and unwind in an idyllic part of the world .

Hut in the Hills Peak District, Unique & Tranquil

A perfect tucked away escape located in the stunning Peak District. A traditional Shepherd's Hut set on the edge of a large open field with rolling views of the countryside. A very secluded spot, pure escapism! Quirky & unique perfect to unwind away from the bustle of daily life. The hut sleeps two in a double bed. All bedding and towels are provided. In order to not make the Shepherd's Hut too cramped we have a separate utilities hut just a few feet away.

Stable Cottage

Stable Cottage is a delightful hideaway in the lovely hamlet of Elkstones in the Peak District. Affording a little taste of country living with views over 'The Secret Valley' being enjoyed from the outside seating area.Enjoy waking up to the sound of a wood pecker and falling asleep to the hooting of an owl.  (Unless they are on holiday themselves) . The Old Stable is nestled in a tranquil corner of the Manifold Valley in the glorious Peak District. Take a stroll across our fields to join the Manifold Way, an ideal starting point to explore the endless walking or cycling routes in the area. Or take a shallow paddle or a wild swim in the natural pool in the river Manifold, which runs alongside the stable. The Old Stable itself offers flexible, stylish and cosy accommodation to suit families or friends.
