Very nice location, great food, and amazing hospitality - very cooperative, laid back and friendly. Akhil gave us some local recommendations and helped us to plan our journey. can only recommend it.

My wife and I stayed for a night prior to our Har Ki Dun trek. It's a perfect homestay with a traditional family in the heart of Soud village. The room is adjacent to the rooms of other family members and is minimalistic. The view from the common balcony is soothing. The food which was garden fresh and simple was served with lots of love. A big thanks to Devender for all the help, information and assistance. He organized small treks (on payment) and we were escorted by chirpy little teenagers from their family who made it worthwhile. Clarify on the costs of food/trek beforehand in order to avoid surprises. The toilets are not attached with the rooms and theres a fly menace if you eat in the common balcony. All in all an simple yet exotic experience with a beautiful traditional joint family.

A hassle free check in experience, a pet friendly resort in true sense, easily accessible from the NH34, food was good, the owner of the place has tried to keep this place simple and close to nature, the owner also runs a Organic masala and cosmetic band in which the product are mostly made out of the organic produce of the resort.... had a very good overall experience, must book if you want a peaceful stay in natural habitat.

We had a wonderful time at the Yoga Villa and enjoyed every single day. The room was nice, the shower was hot, the area quite and safe, the staff very friendly and helpful and we also enjoyed the yoga classes - ashtanga and hatha. If we would go to Rishikesh again, we would definitely stay at the Yoga Villa.

I had a lovely one-night stay at Shadow Barn! The place was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Mohit was a great host—very responsive and provided clear instructions along with some great recommendations for places to check out nearby. The view from the room was absolutely beautiful and added a peaceful touch to the stay. Though it was a short visit, the excellent amenities and warm hospitality made it memorable. Highly recommend!

It was a fantastic stay, near to airport. Sid is so good at hosting. I remember i’ve been fasting that day & had no expectation for fasting food. But this guy made arrangements for fasting food without hesitation. It was so heart touching. And obviously food was good, place is nice & feels like home

We had a beautiful stay at Sneha’s place. She even helped us book a cab and gave us local recommendations. The Airbnb had a Ganga river view and the interiors matched the description except that the Airbnb did not have a kitchen. Nevertheless the host took care of all our meals. The place felt safe and homely. There were few restaurants in the vicinity. Triveni Ghat was about 30 minutes walking from the Airbnb. Everyone right from the porter, the server, the driver to the host and the owner were all very supportive. I will definitely visit again.

If there's one property that truly deserves to be called a soul-satisfying location, it's this one. Waking up to the soothing sound of the Ganga flowing nearby is an experience in itself. The host was incredibly kind and even upgraded me to a river-view room without me asking. A special mention to hosts Sneha and Kartik ji—your warm smiles and welcoming nature added so much warmth to the stay. Even the rest of the staff were exceptional—each one more wonderful than the last. This is the first review I’ve ever written on any platform—and I’m glad it's for this heavenly place. Staying here genuinely felt like a piece of paradise.
