The skiing and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international competition venues and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport.

In the state-approved resort of Zella-Mehlis, we have lovingly converted a cozy apartment under the newly insulated roof of the "Villa Anschütz". The villa was built in 1911 by the founding company of the world-famous Anschütz Sportwaffen. Relax in the garden under the 100-year-old blood beech, next to the ancient rhododendron bushes or by the stream. The original beams of the roof truss, illuminated with warm light, make the apartment particularly cozy.

In the resort town of Manebach, a lovingly furnished apartment awaits you in which you can find time to relax and unwind. The 124 km long Ilmtal cycle path leads from above the Ilmquelle in Allzunahan to the Ilmmündung in Großheringen. Bathing enthusiasts dive into the refreshing wet of the outdoor swimming pool 4 km away. For a city or shopping tour, the state capital Erfurt, 45 km away, and Weimar, offers everything your heart desires in about 70 km.

Guest house on the Schleusehof... enjoy nature!

Our guest house (approx. 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house can accommodate 4 people (2 adults + 2 children. On request, we also have a baby bed for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax. Swimming, hiking, cycling, theater, city tours and stress-free shopping, in the middle of the spa districts of the Rhön, Haßbergen and the Schweinfurt Uplands. Your physical well-being is well taken care of in our region.
