Vacation rentals in Vadsø Municipality

Jeanette’s place was really peaceful and the location was so beautiful. It was mach more than we expected. The cottage felt like home. Everything was really simple. People who expect water closet would rather find some other place, but we were ok with this basic and natural facility. Sauna floor is also a bit tricky, because you have to dry it after sauna, but it was not too much mess. Jeanette is a good host who is very friendly and helpful. We were really thankful that she responded very quickly in the last minute and her plans matched ours perfectly.

Clean and well-equipped accommodation. I recommend it and will be back.

We stayed at Oyster-Catcher Monday to Friday, at the end of September and we are incredibly happy with our stay here. The view was amazing no matter the weather. We felt at home in the cabin and here was everything we needed of equipment etc. It was beautiful and peaceful here on Ekkerøy and it was amazing to be so close to the sea. Lots of nice to see here, an eldorado for photo enthusiasts! Ingjerd was nice and helpful and gave us great tips for our journey to Vardø. We will come back, preferably to experience another season here on Ekkerøy. Thanks for us!

Really nice cabin which has the feeling of being very far away from it all yet remains easily accessible with supermarkets in Vadsø only a few minutes drive away. A few amenities such as coffee had been left by previous guests which was unexpected but welcome. The wider area surrounding this cabin is full of arctic wildlife which was what attracted us to staying here. Finally, what great value!

The place is in the island in Vadsø, walking distance to the town. The house was clean and welcoming, bedroom, kitchen and living room, in the bathroom there was a very good shower, lots of extra towels. The bedroom was small, clean and nice, the bed was made up with fluffy good warm duvet, clean covers, some flat pillow, a little hard bed for my back but helped with extra duvet underneath. Easy and easy check-in with key in the code box. Arrive at one quiet place, to a lovely house, to a helpful and kind host, who saved our Christmas this year with his hospitality and kindness, by letting me stay there from little Christmas Eve to 2 Christmas Day. Henry was little at home, going away the day before I left. I got to celebrate Christmas there with my son and his girlfriend, making Christmas breakfast and dinner, all equipment in the kitchen was available. I was also allowed to leave a lot of food in his fridge. I felt well cared for as a guest in his house in every way, a thoughtful and well-behaved young man with everything in order at his home. One very good place to stay in Vadsø.
