Here it is possible to see deer, elk or foxes. You can go hiking in forests and fields. One of the trails leads to a pond that is about a km away. There you can swim, barbecue, fish and paddle in a canoe (free). The place is located 15 km from Mandal city center and 38 km from Kristiansand.
