Cups, dishes, etc. are sufficiently available, as well as a small dining table and two chairs. In the bathroom with window is a toilet, sink and bathtub. Free parking is available in front of the apartment. The key handover takes place at the apartment. The WHU can be reached on foot in just under 10 minutes and the city center in five minutes. The three apartments are located in a 1617 built and listed half-timbered house on the Rhine. The house is located on the historic Rhine promenade in Neuwied-Engers and belongs to the monument-protected ensemble of castle and master house (Landesmusikakademie). In the historic basement of 1371 you can find a wine shop; "Wein am Rhein". The house was thoroughly renovated from 2014-2016.

Welcome to the Middle Ages! Martinsburg is one of the few castles in the Middle Rhine Valley that have never been destroyed. The gatekeeper's room, approx. 50 m2, we have carefully renovated and approximated today's needs with shower and toilet. However, you must climb 45 steps before you can settle down comfortably. In good weather, you can also relax in the flower corner in the Burghof or explore the Schlosspark am Rhein.

We rent a small apartment on the second floor, which is fully furnished. It is a 3-family house where we live with our two dogs and a cat. Our pets are friendly to all people. The location is quiet and it is about 3 km to the city center. Very close (450 m) is a shopping mall (Netto, general practitioner, pharmacy, post office, bakery and hairdresser ...) Bus connection to the city: lines 5/15. We do not leave pets alone.
