There is ample (free!) parking. You rent the entire upper apartment and part of the lower apartment with its own kitchen, living room, bathrooms, toilets and nice garden. Nice studio in a farmhouse with its own entrance and exit, parking space and garden. Rurally located, with the forest within walking distance and less than 3 km away from the charming centre of Emmen. The studio is equipped with all amenities and is an excellent base for beautiful cycling and hiking trips, a day at Wildlands, or shopping in Emmen. In good weather, it's wonderful to spend time in your own garden, and when it's cold and bleak, the pellet stove provides wonderful warmth. In short, a great place!!

Welcome to the wooded Exloo, located on the Hondsrug in Drenthe. We live in the monumental train station of Exloo from 1903, on the NOLS railway line, from Zwolle to Delfzijl. This railway was established in 1899 and closed in 1945. This railway line is now a beautiful hiking trail! Next to our house is a completely detached and brand new renovated house of 2 floors with enough privacy and private entrance for up to 6 people. There is free parking space, and a private terrace in complete privacy.

The apartment is located between monumental thatched farms in old Valthe, a small village on the Hondsrug, Around Valthe, there are forests, fields, heaths, country roads, fens, burial mounds and megalithic tombs. Many cycling and hiking routes run through Valthe that give access to a widespread network through Drenthe and surrounding provinces. 1 child up to 4 years old can stay in the parents' room. On request, a crib/child's bed can be placed.

It is situated on the edge of the village and therefore a unique location as a base for many beautiful excursions in beautiful Drenthe. A few steps outside the door and you are in the Valtherbos. Also for the runners, hikers and cyclists and ATBers among us there are beautiful routes in the immediate vicinity. On the property is also the owner's house.
