All in all, we enjoyed it very much. The house with its beautiful garden was very appealing to us. There is a fully equipped, very appealing kitchen and good, cozy mattresses. Dennis was present and approachable in a pleasantly reserved manner. Our highlight: the fish pond with its kois.

Ralf's house, which is detached and available to guests for their own use, is very nice. It offers plenty of space and even has a covered outdoor area that can also be used in the rain. The technical equipment is consistently great, if we had any questions Ralf was very easy to reach and not only answered quickly, but even accommodated a special request from me. We were there over New Year's Eve in the hope that our dog would have more peace before New Year's Eve fireworks. There were shots, but not to the extent that you are otherwise used to. Emden is a pretty town and even has a small beautiful sandy beach, which can be reached on foot from Café Strandlust (free parking) in about 10 minutes. The pretty towns of Leer and Aurich are nearby, and the idyllic showcase town of Greetsiel is also easily accessible. We highly recommend Ralf's house and thank you for the lovely stay!

The house has a great layout and is very nicely furnished. We felt very comfortable from the beginning! The amenities are great - you don't need anything. The view of the canal behind the garden is a dream. A feel-good oasis where you can really relax and recharge. The communication with our hosts was super pleasant, we always received a quick response and very helpful tips. The "Old Painter's House" is a hidden gem for those looking for relaxation in beautiful Northern Germany.

Thank you for letting us live here Holida and Chris are great hosts, they were very helpful and quick to answer the question. The house was clean and everything you needed. We felt at home there. A safe neighborhood, a place for a car under the roof. Great ! Thanks, and we hope to be back soon!

We visited the place Giethoorn and then stayed at Geesje's place for a night. It was all exactly as described, the small cozy cabin is right by the yard, the shared toilets and showers just a few meters away. There's even a common space. Geesje greeted us personally and made us breakfast the next morning. The place is quiet and idyllic, the barbecue restaurant (2 min away) is highly recommended. Thank you very much, dear Geesje, for sharing your home with us.

We spent a wonderful week at Aagje in Een-West. Beautiful spacious house with a lovely garden. Good beds. We met wonderfully sunny weather. Since it is still early in the year, it was also wonderful to sit in the igloo greenhouse at the end of the afternoon;where it was warmed up by the sun. Aagje is a very sweet hostess;cheerful,interested and always willing to give information about the beautiful surroundings.
