We have just stayed at Villa Angelos and cannot rate the villa, location and host highly enough! The villa is extremely spacious and very clean on the inside and outside. The pool was large and very well maintained, and this villa offers a lot of privacy from neighbours. The location was great, near the sea and walkable to local restaurants / shops. We did hire a car and I'm glad we did as we were able to explore some beautiful places further afield. The host for our villa lives in the nearby town and was extremely friendly and helpful before and during our stay. I had not used AirBnB for a foreign stay before and was a little apprehensive but Marcus and John helped me feel right at ease. From the moment I booked there was impeccable communication. John ensured we were comfortable during the stay and even was kind enough to supply groceries for when we arrived. We were given loads of great recommendations for locally and further afield. We will 100% be back!!

We were blown away by the beauty of this place- even more charming than the photos with a very relaxed and authentic ambience. The highlight for us was the rocky beach access to crystal clear water and excellent snorkeling. It’s a bit isolated - which was perfect for us, but extremely well equipped with everything you need for cooking inside and outside! We received a wonderful welcome complete with a large stock of fruits and vegetables. The only downside was it was hard to leave. Thank you for the excellent stay!

We absolutely loved this home! Surrounded by stunning nature, it’s full of charm and character—we didn’t want to leave. We booked for a week and spent two entire days just enjoying the house. The design beautifully blends modern comfort with historic charm. It’s stylish, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped—one of the best Airbnb kitchens we’ve seen! We cooked multiple meals and had everything we needed. George was a thoughtful host, leaving fresh fruits, snacks, juice, and a welcome bottle of raki. Bathrooms were clean and stocked; bedrooms had plenty of pillows, blankets, and even slippers—perfect for the cool floors. The outdoor space is a dream. We spent every morning and evening at the dining and pool area. Our dog loved the spacious garden and the friendly local cats. The lush greenery made it feel like home. Note: the road up is narrow and winding—classic Crete. It’s manageable (even with a big SUV), and the hilltop view is totally worth it. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

nice house on quite location many places to sit and relax outside nice almost privat swimming pool very close to the house matthew was quick in response when we had a problem with the oven and we found a solution with mike a local guy we found a perfect beach at 20 min by car near beach club sunkiss very quite and big sandy beach with lots of free parking and nice relax beachclub 6 min walk from boats jetski banana etc

The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need. Every little detail—from the fully stocked kitchen to the cozy, welcoming touches—made it feel like a true home away from home. Our host was incredibly welcoming and communicative, providing excellent recommendations and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The location was ideal—peaceful and relaxing, yet close to great restaurants, shops, and attractions. One of the best parts was the very generous late checkout, which was absolutely perfect since we had a late flight and could relax without rushing—thank you so much for that! We especially loved sitting out on the balcony each morning with a coffee, taking in the view. It was the perfect way to unwind. We would come back in a heartbeat. Manolis' house is superb, everything matches the photos perfectly. It's a peaceful place where you want to stay for a long time. Manolis is also a very responsive and very well organized host. I highly recommend it!!

Amazing villa with spectacular views . Perfect location 10 mins walk to 5 tavernas and 20 mins walk to beach ( back up a hill though!)
