The modern cabin from 2022 is located in the beach zone on Herlandsneset at the end of Atløy in Askvoll Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane. The plot is sunny with panoramic sea views that can be enjoyed from the cabin's hot tub. There is a fabulous view from the cabin towards the island of Kinn in the northwest, a landmark and the area is known as a sailing landmark along the coast. To the southwest you can see the well-known viewpoint Brurastakken and the popular hiking island Alden also called Norske Hesten. With the cabin's motorboat you can travel there and to Værlandet and Bulandet.

The cabin is beautifully located at Jølstervannet close to highway E39( this can cause traffic noise)an area with scattered cabin buildings . Jølster offers beautiful nature and great fishing opportunities in Jølstervannet, which is known as a very good fishing lake. There is great hiking terrain here with marked hiking trails. From the cabin, it is a short distance to a shop, a golf course and Jølster ski centre. Jølster offers cultural experiences, local crafts and an art museum. From the cabin it is walking distance to Tindefjelle and Steinegga.

Spelbu

Spelbu is originally an older log cabin that in earlier times was used as a residential house on the farm Storetræ. In more modern times it was moved about 200 meters, and over time several bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom were built. The cabin was newly renovated in 2022 and has a modern standard, but the historic character has been preserved. There is both electricity and gas (stove and water heater run on gas) + wood stove in the living room. Spelbu is located in a free and nice location with stunning views of the valley and the village.

Cozy cabin in beautiful nature

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. In this cozy cottage you live in beautiful natural surroundings. River and mountain views from the window and on the terrace. Nice trips nearby, including Vallestadfossen which is 500 meters away. Mountain trips are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This is free. The nearest town is Førde which is 30 minutes away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 m from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.

There are sheets and towels in the house. The bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. Here is a steep staircase, but there are railings. It is an older house and it is on a farm.
