The ocean view from the front of the house was pleasant and calming. The rooms are as described. The toys available helped with our 3 year old and her homesickness for playing. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The location was perfect—peaceful and surrounded by beautiful scenery, which made our time there feel extra special. We felt so welcomed and at ease, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into making guests feel at home. The kids like the toys that we available and the outside ‘garden’ that was a joy for them to play in. Thank you for providing such a cozy and inviting place for our family. We would happily recommend this house to anyone looking for a memorable stay near Vik in Iceland!

What a fantastic place! The house was clean and had everything we needed to cook for our family. The view was also amazing and the location was private and quiet. As the house is located away from any road, we saw the Northern Lights twice during our stay. The house is only an hour away from famous waterfalls and the diamond beach. Checking in was so easy and all instructions during our stay were very clear and easy to follow. I can't recommend this place enough, delighted that we found it and got to stay here while in Iceland.

Needed a last minute stay and this was really all that was left when booking, it was nice and clean and a good place to rest in middle of nowhere land.

After we had been looking forward to staying in Heiðas cabin for so long, we just fell in love with it even more from the very moment we arrived. What a gem <3 Aparts from being perfectly clean and well-equipped, the cabin simply just spread such charme and warmth that it was the best possible place we could have returned to after long days of exploration and adventure. We had a pleasant stay at Helga's! The house is very large with typical charm. The beds are comfortable and there is everything you need in the house. The environment is exceptional, we enjoyed spending time with the horses in this huge lava field. Helga is a thoughtful and charming host, I can only recommend 👌
