Vacation rentals with a firepit in Velsen

Wow - Lars's rental has everything you need and more! My family and I have stayed in many, great AirBnbs and, yet, we all agree that this rental was the best ever. The location cannot be beat - close to excellent restaurants, hiking, and easy transit options. The home itself is stunning and fully equipped with every amenity for families. We felt welcomed by our hosts and they were very proactive with communication. We hope to return to this beautiful home!

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

Irina is a lovely host. She is very caring and made sure we had everything we needed. The bed is very cozy and the kitchen has all the essentials. Her apartment is striking architecturally and in a great location surrounded by fun shops and restaurants. We would highly recommend staying with Irina.

We enjoyed the stay! The house is beautiful and we felt right at home. The little garden was great and the kids loved their beds. We also liked Haarlem very much and despite the quiet residential area, there were great bakeries and cafes just a few minutes' walk away. We would come back back. Arthur's house is perfect place for your stay and Arthur himself is great host. At first I really appreciate that he accept our request for stay and was not afraid to accommodate group of friends instead of a family. He have no trouble with change of check-in time even in only one day before arrival. He provided us with many usefull information about public transport, nearby restaurants and similar info needed by every stranger. His home is beatifull. Small quiet garden, big living room, soft beds, two toilets and you can even borrow his bikes, which should be very useful in Netherlands;-) Big great surprise was easy parking just next to the house. Public transport is few minutes by walk and you can be in Amsterdam Centrum within 30 minutes or in Keukenhof in the same time. So big recommendation to everybody who want to enjoy quiet cozy accomodation in good location for good money.

We had a lovely family vacation in Wyik aan Zee. Beautiful beach for walking. A trip to Haarlem and Amsterdam were also on the program. Highly recommended. All in all, we will be happy to come back.

We felt very comfortable here! The space was clean and cozy. Around it was very quiet and in the evening you could relax here. The host Gabriella was very helpful, friendly and very quick to respond to questions from our side. From the property tours to the sea or to Amsterdam were no problem and easy to reach.

I can't recommend Martijn and Lucy's place enough. The apartment itself was extremely well furnished and thought out, including a well stocked kitchen, decent shower and plenty of towels provided. The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable. There are several flights of stairs to reach the apartment at the top floor of the building, but these are well worth it for the benefit of a roof terrace. The location is great, with plenty of food options within a few mins walk (it's worth checking out the Foodhallen!) and an outdoor market on the street below. A tram line that can take you towards the central station is only a couple of mins away or it's an enjoyable walk to anywhere in Amsterdam. We had a great stay, thanks so much!

We enjoyed the stay 100%! Serge is the perfect host, accommodating, but always reserved, polite, friendly, helpful - we were just fulfilled every wish and nothing was missing in this luxurious, absolutely thoughtful place. High-quality appliances in the top equipped kitchen (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, baking paper, aluminum& plastic wrap, etc.), cozy sofa & toilet, nice bathroom, it was nice and warm (in cool April). We were able to wash our laundry and also let it dry in the dryer. In front of the windows were screens, good blackout curtains in the bedroom and nice screen during the day. You can park right in front of the property in a large parking lot, the car is always in view from the living room & kitchen. We will be back! We had a great time! The accommodation was as described, very clean, quiet and in a good location. The host was very responsive and thoughtful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you so much for hosting us, we'll be back with pleasure!

Marietta's house is located in the beautiful town of Muiderberg, from where we are completely uncomplicated to Amsterdam for three days. The house is very well maintained, surrounded by old trees and many detached villas. The apartment furnished, there were small welcome gifts such as chocolates, cheese and wine. Thank you for this. After sightseeing in the city, we ended the evening in Muiderberg on the beach. Have a great stay.

We had a lovely stay at Tijmen's spacious home which is ideally located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, yet still just a short walk to the museum campus, Vondelpark and several other sites. Tijmen was a wonderful host who provided very clear instructions and guidance on restaurants and sites in the area. The flat was clean and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed relaxing with wine and snacks in the sun on the rooftop deck. Like most flats in Amsterdam, you need to climb stairs to get to the flat (and the deck), but it is well worth it!

Place was great for our family, clean, tidy and kitchen has everything we need for. Keukenhof is 10 minutes drive, Amsterdam short train ride away. There is parking front of the building. Beds are comfortable no complains. bathroom was spotless clean. Highly recommended Mark's place. He was so helpful and answers every message so prompt as well. Thank you Mark.

I was there with my partner for an extended weekend and we enjoyed it very much. Jet is super cute and greeted us warmly every night when we came back. Amsterdam is about 40 minutes away by public transport. You can also get to the beach very quickly by car. I can imagine myself coming back.

Fantastic and very cozy apartment with a great garden to relax. Unfortunately, the sun was only there for a short time, but in summer the garden is like a second living room. Highly recommend :)

Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. The house was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything provided that we could need to cater for ourselves. Bathroom was well stocked and the shower was hot with good pressure. Nice private garden with fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows. Neighbourhood was really quiet and peaceful, extremely green (it feels like you are in the woods) but close to plenty of amenities. Has a very family friendly vibe. Short walk to the shops/supermarket etc. and even closer to the woods/lakes etc. Lots of good outdoor routes to explore. Adva was great with some walking recommendations. 20-30 mins drive to Utrecht and Amsterdam so easy to dip in for a restaurant etc. although there are some good local restaurants which Adva can also fill you in on. Adva in general was a brilliant host, responsive, helpful and thoughtful. Kid loved it, dog loved it, adults loved it, would highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

We absolutely loved our stay, the air bnb itself is lovely with a lovely garden for our little dog. We came for tulip season so it was a great base to see the tulips, cycle round Kinderdijk, visit Gouda, and go for walks on the beach. The apartment has everything you need and the hosts and their dog are lovely and very responsive

Wonderful for a short trip into nature. We were looking for peace and nature and found it too. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and easily accessible at all times. We charged our batteries and drove home satisfied. The beach and dunes are just a few steps away - great for long beach walks! The view on the horses and the ponies made us happy. Every now and then a cat came by and you could wonderfully watch the birds that are on the way around the house. All around the tulips bloomed in all colors during our stay! Thank you Tjeerd for your help and support in all matters. Absolute recommendation!

Just like the first time: Very nice hosts. Great and quiet location! The view from the living room - fantastically beautiful! The interior is very nice and cozy! Perfect as a starting point for excursions in the area! To the beach through the dune landscape about 2-3 km. A very nice supermarket is 1 km away. And of course you can visit the hostess's beautiful restaurant. We will be happy to come back! Thank you so much! Astrid and Michael

We stayed with our 5 month old for a week. Charming place, extensively equipped kitchen, wonderful living room and terrace to enjoy a good time. And Janneke was always super helpful, forthcoming and made us feel welcome!
