The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

Big Oak Cabin - Mountaintop lodging in the Ozarks

Big Oak Cabin is a split-level, 2 bedroom, 2 bath house, with 2 separate living rooms. Situated on 5 acres high in the Ozarks, the house is much larger than it looks from the picture, with a large front porch and west-facing rear deck overlooking a pond and splendid sunsets. Only a few miles from the Buffalo River and hiking trails, half a mile from Cliff House Restaurant and five miles south of the quaint town of Jasper. Conveniently located on Hwy 7, Big Oak is a place of quiet Ozark peace.

You'll love this unique and romantic escape from the moment you step onto the deck. Start your morning with a coffee (made any of 4 different ways) or tea at the bistro table. After a day of hiking the local trails or floating the Buffalo National River relax in the spa overlooking the treetops taking in your surroundings. At the end of your day enjoy a drink by the firepit while gazing up at the stars or by relaxing in the dome while looking out at the view. Your Dome away from home awaits!

The Highland Hideaway (with Highland cows!)

The Highland Hideaway is a perfect place for the whole family to relax and enjoy. Four of the cutest fuzzy cows live here! A wet-weather creek is just behind the house, with a rock bluff and fire pit. There is a foos ball table and massage chair for your enjoyment after a day of hiking. The Hideaway is located 3 miles from Carver Landing. You'll be within easy access to SO MANY gorgeous places, including the national park. There is a second home on the property that can also be booked.

Knotty Pine Cabin

This Cozy “Cabin for 2” is a great place to unwind with peace and privacy. A 1 Bedroom, with King Bed, Fully stocked kitchen , Hot Tub and Gas log Fire place located on the covered patio of the cabin. Knotty Pine cabin is minutes away from Jasper and The Historic Ozark Cafe, Peggy Sue’s Coffee Shop and The Buffalo River and Canoe Outfitters are within minutes for your convenience. Float, fish, or swim the Buffalo River and be within minutes of your cabin. Our cabin connects to the Buffalo National Forest which offers some of the best hunting and hiking around. Branson Missouri is 45 minutes away with many things to see and do like Silver Dollar City, Shows, and many lakes.
