House with lots of character and good vibe. Beautiful views over lake and situated in a beautiful setting. Functionally furnished for a pleasant stay. Recommended for people who are looking for peace in a very beautiful area but also not want to be too far from cities such as Oslo and Hamar.

The stay was wonderful and the house was exactly as described. There is everything you need. The owners respond quickly to questions. The best part is just the location. You just can't get enough of this fantastic view. Highly recommended.

We spent more than two weeks at Oskar's home, and we left with regret. The place is even more beautiful and peaceful than you can imagine and the house is perfectly furnished. The rooms are spacious, bright and nicely decorated. There is everything you need to feel at home, with room in the cabinets, in the kitchen etc. This one is perfectly equipped to cook every day. The kids loved the garden with the large trampoline and all the toys. The walks all around the house are superb. In short, a beautiful place that leaves us wonderful memories with the family, thank you Oskar and Johanna!

Absolutely beautiful place! Closer to the sea one does not come. We have enjoyed ourselves very much, both children and adults. Bright and nice interior, clean and modern. Nice and easy. We would love to come again. Thank you so much for us!

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and feels just like home. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and BBQs, and our kids loved exploring the nearby forest and relaxing by the bonfire. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and scenic hikes. Sadly, the weather kept us from using the kayak and SUP, but we still had a great time. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Anne-Kristine’s Drengstova was simply amazing! It‘s incredible, how much love has gone into turning the older workers‘ room and adjacent space in the former barn into an apartment. But that‘s not all: the view is spectacular, even on a cloudy/rainy day. Numerous walks/hikes to chose from are just a stone‘s throw away. And then there are Anne-Kristin and her husband Arvid: they are wonderful hosts! Very responsive, crazy helpful and very sweet! Would highly recommend Drengstova for anyone who‘s in the area!

We had a great time! The environment is very peaceful and the views of the lake, mountains and waterfalls are beautiful! We really enjoyed the hot tub after the long hike in Trolltunga (P2 departure is 20-30 minutes from the accommodation!) Thanks for hosting 😊

Family of five who have had a brilliant long weekend in Grimstad. The apartment is large, has all you need of equipment and perfect location by the harbor. Cozy and warm balcony with lovely views and morning sun. This must be the perfect holiday apartment. We hope to come back in the future.

Marie’s place was absolutely wonderful! It was exactly as described — incredibly clean, beautifully decorated, and even better in person. The view was stunning and made our stay even more special. We booked last-minute, but everything was ready for us when we arrived, and the whole process was seamless. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back!

Lovely cottage in quiet neighborhood. Perfect for folks who want to stay a few minutes away from the main town of Lysekil. Full kitchen is great for making meals. Beds upstairs are very comfortable. Steep stairs to second floor may be challenging for folks with mobility concerns, but sturdy handrail is present. Host is very responsive and kind. Do not miss this amazing place!

We had a wonderful stay at this very cozy and comfortable cabin. The cabin is placed in beautiful, quiet surroundings close to the woods and to the sea. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. Fredrik is a very friendly and helpful host, and the neighbors are friendly, too. We will definitely recommend it.

Very nice little accommodation in an incredibly nice environment! Great host couple who were quick to respond and were nice and very accommodating! Nothing to complain about at all that lowers the rating but some things to know! The mattresses in the bed (if you pull it out and sleep two there) are quite thin so the spoons feel through some - probably ok for some, pretty much onas if you are sensitive to things like that (or pregnant like me😅) The cottage is small. There is no problem overall except that it is not possible to sit at the table if the bed is pulled out - so either you can make it up or be ok with sitting and eating in the bed ☺️ The door to the toilet is very slow and we never dared to fully close. Not a problem for us as comfortably married couple, but again maybe something that some people felt uncomfortable with! The cottage is located in the family garden. Nothing that we had any concern with at all as the family was never out while we were there, but no really private location. But overall a great place to stay!
