Centrally located for exploring the whole of Sogn - 15 minutes drive to Sogndal city center and about 20 min to Jostedalsbreen and Bokbyen in Fjærland.

Beautiful hiking tracks in summer and in winter there are cross country skiing tracks and a ski lift at Sysendalen - Maurset. Skiing routes / tracks for cross country skiing is found at www.skisporet.no - Sysendalen usually about 300m from the cabin. The cabin is cozy and simple, and river just 100 meters below with possibility fishing trout.
