We loved Hulda's apartment. The location is perfect for your Golden Circle Experience as it's really close to all the main attractions. The apartment is cute, very clean and easy to access.Also three of us were very comfortable and a family of four could manage well there. It's less than five minutes from multitudes of great restaurants in what looks like an up and coming town in Sulfoss. I could not recommend Hulda and her place enough!

In basement of house and bright and airy. Really cozy and warm. kitchenette well equipped. Lovely shower & bathroom. Elin knocked to check all ok after our arrival. It was great to have a chat one morning with Elin’s husband about the farm,church and area generally. Location is beautiful rural Iceland and made a great base for Gulfoss etc. Village of Fludir 5 mins away. Highly recommended!

Sehr freundliche und schnelle Kommunikation. Tolles kleines Apartment für zwei Personen. Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Man kann direkt vor der Unterkunft im Hof parken. Supermarkt, Bäckerei und Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Absolut empfehlenswert.

A great small place that worked for our group of 6 people for one night.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le logement est une maison neuve que l'on a entièrement à disposition. Il y a une chambre avec un lit double. Il y a un canapé-lit dans le salon. Le logement est situé dans un petit quartier résidentiel très calme situé à côté du centre de la ville de Hveragerði. Très bonne communication avec l'hôte dont les instructions pour le self check-in avec boîte à clés étaient très claires. Excellent Airbnb !

Fantastic accommodations in these brand new studio apartments. We had friends staying at the standalone units nearby and thought our studio was better. Good quality furniture, bedding, and super thoughtful details. Even though we shared a wall on both sides we did not hear a peep all night. Would have enjoyed more nights but we are on to the next destination.. beautiful view of the falls and had a great setup for sun down. Thank you so much, Horizons!

We enjoyed our stay - great location for a trip to south coast and then to kick off golden circle. South coast was definitely the star - so glad we stayed here to easily access. Everything we needed was available and our stay was comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer - 2 nights was not enough!

Due to a broken water pipe, we were unable to stay at the original booking, but Kari was extremely proactive and contacted us immediately with alternative accommodations that were also great. Kari provided a crib for our youngest, made sure we were taken care of, and was extremely responsive, which we appreciated. Would recommend staying at Kari's listings!

This house is gorgeous with beautiful views and beautiful and comfortable accommodations. Our host, Karen, was so thoughtful and friendly, with great recommendations for activities on the island. Our family of seven had the best time staying here at their home, and a great time touring the island for volcanoes and puffins. Everyone in the family agreed that we needed to return here!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl in der Wohnung gefühlt und auch die Lage und die Umgebung mit den Pferdeweiden rundherum hat uns gut gefallen. Es war ein super Startpunkt für viele Ausflüge und die Nähe zum Ort Selfoss war auch sehr praktisch zum Einkaufen und tanken. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, sodass wir kaum etwas zu kritisieren hatten.

Posizione tranquilla e isolata, ottima per vedere l’aurora boreale. Cucina molto fornita di tutto l’occorrente. La consigliamo!

What a lucky find! Quiet little place in the neighborhood just a short walk from the center of Selfoss. We were the last guests for the season and even though the weather was a bit soggy this proved a great location for going out to explore and then cozy up with a book afterwards.

Sweet little apartment in quiet neighbourhood. Great for 2 or 3 people. Short walk to some of the trails. We would totally recommend this to anyone exploring the island :)

Our stay at Brynja’s was great! She was very proactive about communication and the Airbnb was exactly what we needed. Some great tourist spots were conveniently nearby and others were not a long drive away. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you want to spend less time driving and more time exploring like we did!

We had a great stay! The place is spacious, very clean, and exactly as described. It was easy to find and conveniently located close to the harbour, which made getting around super simple. Would definitely recommend to others!

Un alojamiento recomendado solo para dos personas, tiene todo para que pases la noche. Cumple tal cual con lo estipulado. Zona muy tranquila y muy hermosa. El departamento tiene suficientes calentadores para ahora la temporada de frío. El baño es chico, pero cumple con su función. El acceso es fácil y tiene estacionamiento dentro de la propiedad.

Peaceful, private, magical location. Able to see aurora borealis at night and enjoy the view of horses and the mountains during the day. Amazing space to live for the week. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and found the place very relaxing and rejuvenating. The beds were incredibly comfortable! Hope to come back one day.

Amazing place. We sat in the hottub at night with - 10 degrees while it was pitch black. A moment we will never forget. The place looked even better than on the pictures. We cooked at the place two nights, the oven is amazing and all the equipment is there. Linda responded very quick and was very nice. Thank you Linda!!

Mi experiencia en este alojamiento fue excepcional. Desde el momento en que llegamos, la comunicación con el anfitrión fue fluida y amigable, dándonos todas las indicaciones necesarias para sentirnos como en casa. El espacio estaba impecable, decorado con mucho gusto y perfectamente equipado con todo lo necesario para una estancia cómoda y agradable. La ubicación es ideal, cerca de todo lo que necesitábamos, y la tranquilidad del lugar hizo que nuestro descanso fuera perfecto. Nos recibio con chocolates, sopa y pan. Up there with one of the best places we have stayed. Beautifully decorated, beds were so comfortable, always warm and cosey, kitchen well stocked and everything so clean. We absolutely loved it. And the northern lights gave us a treat right outside the front door, such an idyllic stay thank you

Was a great stay! Central to all things to see in the South/Southwest part of Iceland. Beds were comfortable and loved the space. Brynja was very communicative and was a great host! Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely unforgettable stay! We spent a week at Thorvaldur's place in the countryside and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is serene and peaceful, perfect for those wanting to escape the hustle and connect with nature. Located near the attractions of the Golden Circle is very convenient for sightseeing. Also a short drive, is the town of Selfoss, which made shopping for groceries and essentials super easy and convenient. Thorvaldur himself is truly an amazing host. Warm, welcoming, and always just a message away if we needed anything. His sense of humor made every interaction a joy, and he had us smiling the entire trip. Thanks to his expert tips, we were lucky enough to see the northern lights on 4 separate nights, an experience we'll treasure forever. The house is spotlessly clean, with all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend Thorvaldur’s place to anyone looking to experience the magic of Iceland.

Sæunn's place is spacious, cozy and has the facilities that one would need during a travel. The WiFi works fine, there are enough kitchen utensils and amenities available, the approach towards waste segregation and holding to the recycle policy is commendable and for those interested there is a Chromecast to the TV so you can cast anything that you want to watch on the TV. The place is located in a beautiful farmland surrounded by horses and sheep. Sæunn is very welcoming and responsive (we chatted via Airbnb chat option). The dog is friendly. All together very nice and unique place. I wish we had stayed there longer. I definitely recommend the place.
