“I had never used Airbnb before, and I was even afraid of something going wrong. I booked the room at Penha's apartment and everything went well, it was great! I hope to give those who read the reviews an extra confidence to stay and guarantee this good trip, as people who describe the stay are not always found, which left me a foot behind to book something over the internet. It is possible to go without a car and still enjoy the city walking: the beach is 4 blocks from the building, the mall is nearby and there are bakeries around as well. The room is sufficient in space. It has a ceiling fan, cabinets and drawers. The bed has the sheet, bedspread, blanket and even towels available. I didn't even use a blanket because it was hot, and I slept with a fan on at low speed. For those who have difficulty sleeping in the light (when it is morning and the sun hits the room), I recommend that you take an eye patch because the bedroom curtain is not very efficient, as it has no black-out. In the bathroom they have face towels, shampoos and conditioners for women and men, soaps, both solid and liquid, extra toilet paper in case the current one runs out, razors and hair dryer available for use. As it rained, I sat in the living room watching television for a while, all quiet. It is good that even with heat it is not stuffy, because there is also a ceiling fan in the room, and there is no boredom since there is wifi and the TV is by subscription (NET) and there are always good movies available to watch now. I was able to use the fridge to store food and cups and plates to eat. Always wash them for education. Sometimes if you are afraid to book because "someone lives" in the house, don't worry, Penha is SUPER receptive and friendly. She went with me and my daughter to the beach, let us sit with her and use the chair and umbrella, and we had a good chat in the afternoon. She is an open-minded woman and is available to help the guest with questions and whatever they need. I recommend 100% hosting here on Airbnb, trust me.”

“We spent a very pleasant week in the apartment. The best of all is the sea view as the building is very close to the beach. The apartment is spacious with two bedrooms and one en-suite and is well maintained and well equipped. There is a ceiling fan in the bedrooms and in the living room, although it is not necessary because the floor is high and the apartment is cool. It has a smartv room to watch Netflix and open channels. The apartment is on the less urbanized stretch of that beach, there are some very dilapidated properties nearby, but nothing that gets in the way. we would just like to suggest to the owner to make more bath towels and rugs available because only one towel per person for 7 days ended up being little more because we caught rain and it took too long for the towel to dry.”
