My place is about 15 to 20 minutes to restaurants and family-friendly activities. We are about 30 minutes to Mount Princeton Hot Springs and 30 minutes to Monarch Ski Resort. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). We also now have a propane grill for you to use.
“This cabin is an absolute hidden gem. My husband and I, and our dog, just spent Christmas week in this beautiful little cabin in the slightly remote snowy mountains of Salida. Jodi and Clint thought of everything to make our stay incredibly comfortable and cozy. They even had Christmas decorations which were very much appreciated. Monarch mountain is only a short 30 mins away and offered so many fun activities, we happened to snow tube and snowmobile. Downtown Salida is only 15-20 mins away with many cute shops and restaurants. Is it important to note that you may get ZERO cell service and there is no WiFi. We didn’t mind this for a few days, it was actually kinda nice. Lastly, the cabin is small and we packed very large suitcases (packed with winter gear) which made storing them a little tricky but we managed just fine- just something to keep in mind!”
Beautiful mountain home on 40 secluded acres in the rolling hills, located between the Royal Gorge and Salida. There are trails on the property and the Arkansas River is two miles by car. Gold Medal trout fishing and white water rafting make the Arkansas River a perfect destination. Due to enhanced cleaning procedures and the requirement to block days off before and after each guest, we are changing to minimum four day bookings. We expect to open the house for booking in mid June.
“Probably the best AirBnB we’ve ever stayed at; top to bottom. It’s a beautiful home with breathtaking views, and ample trails to explore and hike around the property. Then you can relax in the hot tub. You’re tucked away from everyone and can really get away from it all here. The best part was the amazing hospitality from Rick and Tracy. They are very kind people. They greeted us with the most delicious banana bread, and were so helpful from when we booked through when we left for anything we needed. Can’t recommend highly enough.”

“You can expect the most delicious real “chai”! Ask Paul. He is very knowledgable about Crestone and he built his adobe home himself. You will stay upstairs and the views are fantastic! You have in your room a small refrigerator “dorm room size” and electric hot water teapot with teas and real honey provided. There is a short cut trail from Paul’s place clearly marked to head out hiking. I will be back in the Spring.”
