Really lovely flat right by the harbour. We stayed here to visit Iris and the boat picks you up 30 seconds walk from the front door. The flat was really nice and extremely clean and communication was super easy and clear. We went for a 10km walk in the morning and it was stunning - perfect location to also see some of the beautiful scenery. Highly recommend and thank you for a lovely stay!

Ingers and Knuts place was just wonderful, the fjord in front of us, kajaks to be rent for free, swimming directly from the house, incredible views, a very kind and hospitable host, a easy accessible sauna, fishing ropes, bicycles, just everything what we needed. Knut welcomed us, showed us around and he and his wife were just always available when we needed something. And the wooden house with its details was just wonderful to live in for a week. We would love to come back!! Thank you so much.

It was a wonderful week, soft perfect beds, well equipped house of high standard, very good wlan, good fishing boats, big freezer, own fishermen kitchen … and the best is simply the marvelous view 😁

Beautiful location, right on the water and very quiet, simple hut, but very clean, ideal for a short stay. Everything necessary is available.

We enjoyed a nice stay in a beautiful, cozy house with beautiful views. The terrace on the water is an added value.

What a fantastic time we have spent in Trude and Andreas’ magnificent house in Haukanes on Huglo! The charming, secluded and well equipped traditional red house and its quiet surroundings are breathtaking with ever changing views, the greens and flowers, the small cottages, the boathouse, the pier, the boat and of course the sea only a few meters away. Despite some fairly rainy days we (two adults and a youngster of 16) enjoyed a lot the cozy house and had plenty to do exploring the island; hiking the Natur/Kulturstien, “climbing” Høgafjellet more than once, and talking to the very friendly and helpful Huglare. Other highlights included ice cream sessions at the Huglabutikken (with a surprisingly good selection of groceries), the multiple ferry trips to Hodnanes and Jektavik and the hiking on Stord (Stovegolvet). Trude and Andreas are fantastic hosts, extremely fast in answering any questions we had and we would warmly recommend to visit their magic place on Huglo.

Great place and very homey home! Very nice reception with regards from the landlord. Cozy welcoming home, with ample patio, swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Only 2 minutes walk from Norway's most beautiful beach. Short drive to Skudneshavn which is really an idyllic village, with several daring and old traditional buildings. Simply magical. Here you will find the tranquility right away, and a wake-up call that really makes you feel welcome! We'll be back for sure! Highly recommended! 😊

We spent a few quiet days of our Norway tour with Heidi and Ove. The place was super clean and very nicely located, the view of the fjord was really nice. We rented one of the boats for two days and went out fishing, which also worked out great. Heidi and Ove were very friendly and responded quickly to questions and messages. For a longer stay, we would probably miss the Wi-Fi, but for a few days, the lack of Wi-Fi did not bother us.

We had a very rest in the fjord hut. It was all there, what you need. We had a great night's sleep in the beds. The view is out of this world.
