At the same time, it is a perfect starting point for trips to Amsterdam and Utrecht, or bike rides through the Dutch landscape. There are two charming, spacious bedrooms with private shower and toilet. The large kitchen with adjoining sitting room is ideal for a good breakfast or a cozy evening. Stay in the former eighteenth-century summer house of the Bouwerij on the Ridderhofstad Gunterstein estate on the Vecht in Breukelen. The summer cottage is located on the grounds of a small-scale organic dairy farm, a farm with 70 hectares of land adjacent to the Loosdrechtse lakes, where our cows, mostly ancient Dutch leaf heads, graze in an ancient park-like cultural landscape.
