Apartment vacation rentals in Vulcano

Location was perfect, really close to the port where you can get boats to visit neighbouring islands. We bought tickets from the office there, was about €50pp. There’s also a bus that takes you to the local beaches that you can get from the port. The apartment was well equipped for our 2x night stay, good air conditioning which is great for the hot days. It’s a safe area, and though it faces a main road it is not loud at all. I would say as it does face a main road I would have liked to be able to double lock the doors instead of just a single lock, something to bear in mind if you are a woman solo traveller. Nando is a wonderful man and host. You will likely be met by him at the ferry dock, and he is extremely kind and helpful. His house is beautiful, with exceptional views. The guest rooms on the lower level are comfortable but very basic. Please note there is no AC, and the August heatwave made the room pretty hot indeed, but there is a powerful and quiet ceiling fan. Staying at Nando’s would not be so practical without transport of some kind. We loved Nando and Lipari and really highly recommend staying here.

We only stayed 2 nights in Vittoria's place on Vulcano, but we had a very nice time. The apartment is spacious and very pretty. It was also great that fly screens were attached to each window to keep mosquitoes away. Cooking in the kitchen was fun as it was well equipped. We were able to sleep very well as it was pleasantly cool, dark and quiet at night. You can get to the route up to the volcano crater very quickly and are also at the beaches and the harbor in a few minutes. It was very nice!

The appartement is original given its multi level design and the shared roof top terrace. It is perfectly located between a beach (Spiaggia di Portinente) as well as the marina (where the tour boats leave) and the main street with all its restaurants, bars, and cafes. We got a lot of very good tips for eating out and the best arancini in town. Very much recommended!

We were guests of Paolo in the beautiful Lipari. The location of the house is great, you can easily get around downtown, it is close to several restaurants and bars. Very clean and cozy environments, very large spaces. We felt at home . We really recommend Paolo's solution who will know how to be kind and welcoming as he was with us.

I went at the end of September for the first time to Lipari, a beautiful island! The apartment is in a wonderful location, just a few minutes drive from downtown. The apartment was super clean, spacious,with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Mr. Luigi and his very kind family, both in picking us up at the port, although we arrived very late at night, and in giving us information. So I recommend going to Villa Hermes for your vacation in Lipari.

The accommodation is newly renovated, functional, very ventilated in the evening (there is still a good air conditioning system for those who want it) and equipped with everything you need. Faithful to the description and photos, it is very convenient for boarding ferries and for its proximity to the historic center of Lipari. Good base for visiting the island. Maybe a little noisy on the kitchen side when the ferries are disembarking. Very present and helpful Francesca who welcomed us warmly and gave us many tips. I would definitely recommend it!

I met Ciro and his wife, sunny, helpful and welcoming people. Not only did they help me with suitcases, but they were flexible on check-in time, finally allowing me to deposit luggage with them for checkout. I find sheets, towels, and a hair dryer in the listing, even though it wasn't indicated! Ciro's wife's tips on places to visit and where to shop were very helpful! The view is the gem of the house; it is really pleasant and relaxing to stay on the terrace and enjoy the view of Lipari, Panarea and Stromboli. In short, everything was perfect!

Everything is perfect

The two of us spent five days on Lipari and had the best starting position for day trips to the neighboring islands thanks to this beautiful accommodation. It is only a few minutes' walk to the jetty from which the boats start. The apartment has everything you need to feel good. From the terrace you have a nice view and also the kitchen is spacious. There's nothing missing. You feel right at home. Communication went well, we were personally received and followed many more tips. Not far are bakers, supermarket and restaurants. Almost in front of the house is a large greengrocer, but he also has a lot of groceries. We hope to come back soon and would like to thank Concetta and Giovanni again for the nice time!

As you enter the property you come across and delight in the garden's orange trees, all very well equipped . Amália is kind, corresponds quickly to doubts, we had a great stay to Lipari. I highly recommend it.

Very good apartment outside the noise of the main streets. Giuseppe provided everything and very fast. Highly recommend. Would stay there again.

Overall very positive experience. Luigi and Nidra are friendly and generous, we even ate the eggs of their chickens who kindly offered us and took care of our stay with many small kindnesses. The house is even better than the photo. One thing that may be good to know is that at the cost of renting it is necessary to add the rental of a motorized vehicle since the house is on the hill and not easily accessible on foot or by bike. Other than that, our hosts were very affectionate and friendly.

Very cute personally decorated house with great roof terrace, plenty of space and great location, only a few minutes to bars and restaurants, but still a little quieter secluded at the Marina Corta. Furnishings authentic/antique, but everything very clean!

Lovely apartment a few meters from the restaurants and the port of Marina Corta. Great for one or two. The apartment is humid, but has air conditioning with dehumidification and an upper window that can be left open. I felt very comfortable in the apartment. Alessandra is nice and was immediately available if needed. See you one more time :-)

The host was very clear in the description of the beds. Very spacious to sleep in a group, there are two bathrooms, one with shower and hairdryer. Beautiful terrace with lights and a long table with benches. Excellent indoor temperature despite the absence of air conditioning. We appreciated the availability and kindness at the time of check-in, we left the drinks to him and placed them in the refrigerator as soon as the house was freed from previous guests, while we were already at the sea :) Great tips on places to eat!

Very warm house, super well equipped. Gustavo was kind enough to pick us up directly from the boat, on the way he was able to tell us places to visit (great tips). Very quiet corner, not far from the city center, all done on foot. A little extra for access to the mother 2min walk away. We recommend 100% Excellent!! Thanks again

Impeccable host, the apartment is exquisite with all the necessary comforts and wonderful outdoor area. Beautiful terrace, sauna and pool overlooking the Aeolian Islands! If I have to find a flaw, the pool is not heated, but I was wrong not to ask. Congratulations!
