Vacation rentals in Waccabuc

Our stay at Starlight Serene was everything we hoped it would be! John was very responsive and helpful, especially as this was our first time using AirBnB. The pictures are very accurate, there were plenty of towels, linens, and a VERY well equipped kitchen - much more than we expected (or I have in my own house, I think!). Lots of nice bonuses to this place - my kids loved the firepit and there was wood on hand as well as a s'mores kit; the hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. You are at the narrower end of the lake, but still a beautiful view with plenty of wildlife. The location is great - roughly 30ish minutes to Bear Mountain, Legoland, and the Palisades Center (which had tons of rainy-day fun for kids). We even rented a pontoon boat from Murphy's Cove Marina - Richie was really wonderful to us and our kids and they loved their first time boating and fishing on the lake. Stefan and Taís’ home was beautiful! They were so friendly and helpful, and everything was as described. Spent most of our time hiking the neighboring areas and enjoying the lakefront! Great for all who love nature. The quality of the home AND the great hosts will both be reasons I will one day be back

Lovely airbnb with lots of fun amenities (ping pong, darts, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor sunroom). perfect weekend getaway in nature! would def recommend

Loved the beautiful mountain views through the large windows or while enjoying the full sized deck. Three large bedrooms were great accommodations for our three couples. Very clean, very roomy and homey feel with lots of attention to the details that make for a smooth stay, Great kitchen facilities - meals were easy. Lots of “hanging out “ space perfect for spending relaxing time together. Loved playing the old vinyl records and board games. Key cabin location enables rapid access to so many activities and sites to see. So happy we chose the Fratt Lodge. We cant wait to come back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying here which is located right in front of a stunning lake, and it exceeded all our expectations. The location was simply perfect; we woke up each morning to the tranquil views of the water, and it quickly became our favorite spot. Our host was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. They were always available to answer any questions we had in a short amount of time. Overall, our experience at this lakefront Airbnb was wonderful.

Danny and Lisa were great hosts! Me and my husband enjoyed our babymoon in this relaxing and quiet location. The views are stunning and it was nice to be surrounded by nature! The place was so clean and beautiful. We would definitely love to return for another relaxing weekend to recharge :)

My stay at Lisa’s was great! I had my own space that was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the location and setting and was right at home.

FENCED. YARD!! Apart from the clean, spacious, well appointed home, the yard was the best part. And it wasn’t just boring and flat and grassy-think boulders for climbing and jumping, hills for racing, “secret passageways” for exploring. Just be prepared to look for ticks. Clearly an excellent choice for families with children, and our dog loved it most. The home has lots of character, good books to read, games for passing time. While venturing out for hikes, we enjoyed the views along the windy roads with charming homes and mountain scenery. The kitchen had so many pots and pans and plenty of dishes. Lillian was always responsive and quick. Good choice for a peaceful getaway.

My husband, pup and I had a great stay! We had such a wonderful time exploring the extensive hiking trails. The property was beautiful and peaceful. We really loved the waterfalls! Rick was quick to respond when I had any questions. We hope we can return for another getaway in the fall!
