We are central to the Waikato, minutes from the Waikato Expressway/SH1 - approx. an hours drive to Auckland, west coast surfing/fishing beaches like Raglan, 90 mins to east coast Coromandel's world renowned beautiful beaches, a short drive to Hakarimata bushwalks with 800 year old Kauri, Golf Course, Hot Pools, Huntly Speedway, 20 minutes to Hamilton, Hampton Downs Raceway, and lovely cafe's a short drive.

Hillside Cottage

Nestled between grassland and trees, this guest house is the perfect place to soak up New Zealand’s beautiful nature. Relax watching the birds and scenic hills or get hands on with the family pets. You can feed the alpacas or visit the chicken to collect some eggs. There is always a spare paddock for horsey people visiting the area and plenty of room to park a trailer or boat. Ivy cottage is a unique, artistic,quirky, perfectly imperfect, 1946 workingman's cottage in Mangakino. It has a welcoming,relaxing ambiance with its original wooden floors and colorful decor. It's rustic, homely and small. Unfortunately it is not toddler friendly. Breakfast ingredients will be supplied for the first night, including free range eggs when available, homemade muesli, bread and condiments. Tea ,coffee and milk are also supplied.
