This is really beachfront with a short walk down the stairs. This place made me feel right at home with a real beach bach feel. I wish we could have stayed longer. Was also great to be able to bring our dog who is a member of our family along.

We had a great stay at Janine’s place! The location is perfect—really close to everything like shops, restaurants, and beaches. It made getting around so easy. The place itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Janine was also super friendly and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely recommend her place and would love to stay again! The homemade muesli and slice is so yum!

Jaye and Brent helped us out when we got stuck on the beach above and beyond. Also gave us fresh fish the first night awesome. We loved them and the lodge so much we stayed an extra night. Great place to stay, gorgeous view n private (host can see your room but it doesn’t feel like they’re hovering over you). Driveway is steep but flat where you park n only a slight incline down the path to the room. Spa pool was empty so that was a little bit of a shame but it was summer n hot so, understandable. Would highly recommend this place!!!

Super nice and spacious! Great proximity to a beach and right next to a ton of walking paths in the reserve. Hosts are super friendly, and generous with things like granola, jams, milk - on top of a well-equipped kitchen (air fryer and nespresso!). 10/10 recommend

Family fun by the pool

We had a great time at this place. Kids absolutely loved the pool. The view of the green hills and farm animals just behind the backyard create a feeling of peace and tranquility, that we really needed. All shops and cafes are just 10 min driveaway. Natalie responded to communications promptly. The house was equipped with everything needed. Thank you Natalie.

Beautiful place to stay - easy to access, lovely and private and beautiful beds, furniture and amenities. Everything is thought through and exactly where you need it. The weather shifted during our week and the pods were super warm and cosy. Great family home for the week.

Easy access to the shopping centre and the port/ beaches. The house is older style but very clean and presented well. Limited parking. We thought it was a bit expensive for what we got. Twin share and one queen. It's a real shame that people put their prices up, when accommodation is limited due to SLSNZ Competition, we didn't have much choice for accommodation. This happens everywhere not just in Gizzy. Adrian's house was lovely to stay in and I would recommend it.

The apartment was very good, with a great view of Gisborne, everything was very clean. The hosts were super responsive to a water pressure problem in the shower, immediately calling a plumber to solve the issue. That's what a superhost is all about! 👍

These hosts were great with excellent communication. Place is attached to the main house but still feels very private. Very close to the beach and easy drive to town, so location was perfect. only thing is it is close to the main highway, although there was very little traffic at night time, so it didn't disturb us at all. works easily stay again. Fresh fruit, 🥑 and beer in the fridge was a nice touch
