Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Washington County

Second visit and it was just as nice as the first. We like this house inside and out. The pool and walking trail through the woods are great, and the living room is super comfy for family hanging out at night or on a rainy morning. Highly recommend!

The house was beautiful as it was captured in the pictures. Connor was extremely helpful and communicative when we needed help. Despite the snow storm, we had an easy time getting in and out of the house. Extremely beautiful surroundings,great views / vistas from every window, abundant light. House heated well despite the cold weather and kitchen was truly stocked with everything needed, especially for foodies like us who love cooking. Would definitely be back!

A Perfect Getaway! We had such a wonderful stay at Karen’s beautiful lakefront home! From the moment we booked, Karen was amazing with communication—super responsive, helpful, and so accommodating. She made everything so easy and stress-free. The house itself was spotless and smelled so fresh when we arrived—it truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, and it was clear that Karen puts a lot of care into making her guests feel comfortable. The location is absolutely stunning—tucked away in a peaceful spot right on the lake. We loved having access to the boats during the day, and in the evenings, sitting around the firepit with family under the stars was just perfect. It was everything we needed for a relaxing escape. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful retreat with a host who really goes above and beyond. Beautiful location and house amenities were exceptional. Host even had a welcome basket of goodies sitting out for our arrival. Kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms well appointed and the views spectacular. Close to lots of activities and restaurants Would definitely stay again

It was the second time a group of us stayed at the Manor (9 of us total). It worked out perfectly. Beds are comfortable plenty of space for us all. Kitchen was clean and well stocked with dishes and pans. Along with complementary coffee. Communication is a five star plus!!! Will be back again next year!!

This is the second time we have rented this outstanding house (and beautiful surrounding property with trails). The furnishings, decor, linens, games, child items, dog supplies (we did not bring a dog but they were thoughtfully supplied). kitchen cookware and equipment, really everything was over the top. Additionally Delia left lots of local food items from vegetables to snacks to wine for us to enjoy. They were amazingly thoughtful and appreciated. I have rented many airbnb homes over the years from Bermuda to the Hamptons and not one has been as clean, well furnished and comfortable as this. Thank you Delia and we'll be back asap.

Great comfortable cabin. Clean and plenty of space for everyone with open floor plan. Me and my wife loved sitting by the wood stove at night as everyone else were either in the kitchen or watching TV. Great location and will definitely come back.

We loved our stay here! Beautiful backyard with peaceful views; the surrounding areas are full of lots of outdoor activity. Patrick was a kind and responsive host. Certainly recommend this stay for a couple looking for an R&R weekend getaway!

Skip and Mary were very accommodating, especially when our plane was delayed and we got to the place around midnight. They were friendly to talk with and very nice people. They even worked on some bikes they had to make them rideable for us and we had fun biking around Cambridge, a very cute town. Some caveats: There is a steep full staircase to go down from the bedroom to the bathroom. The a/c units (one upstairs in the loft and the other downstairs) are free standing and noisy, but work fairly well. There isn't a kitchen, just a small microwave and some dishes. No water, you have to use the bathroom to wash dishes. The kitchen is connected to their kitchen so you can hear each other and their dogs which they did try to keep quiet. They have a large jacuzzi in the bathroom but it was difficult and treacherous for an older person to get into to take a shower. Overall, I'd say the house is not geared for older people like us. There is a gorgeous meadow out the window.

The apartment was a great stay. Plenty of room, very clean, comfortable bed, well-equipped full kitchen, central location close to everything and easy parking. Dawn and Terra were the kind of host you want… responsive, easy to work with, and a very good resource for local information. Really enjoyed the stay.

This is our second time staying at Nicolas’ place, this time for two weeks. It was extraordinary again. Incredibly peaceful location with easy access to Bennington. Definitely hope to visit again.

Best place we ever stayed! Mara was amazing and we had the best two days there. We got to spend time with friendly horses, cats, and chickens. We saw a bald eagles nest nearby, too. Front of the house was a peaceful farm vibe and the back was a gorgeous river view off the back deck. We enjoyed grilling our dinner and eating out back while watching the sunset. The deck lights were a nice touch. Simply stunning! Indoor fireplace was so nice too. Definitely book this place if you’re thinking about it! We will be back for sure!
