Vacation rentals with a firepit in Washtenaw County

This is by far one of the best places I have stayed in a while. It’s a hidden gem in Ann Arbor. I was searching for a place to stay to accommodate my family and friends for my daughter’s graduation. And this place is about 10-15 mts drive to downtown Ann Arbor and University buildings. It’s secluded enough to give you a hill resort vibe with a view of the Barton Ford (river that looks like a lake) yet close enough to restaurants and the university and downtown. The house itself feels like a time capsule - built in the fifties. Monica has maintained it impeccably with original decor, furniture and tons of photographs. Kitchen appliances are top notch even though remind you of living in that era. She has taken care to provide Zingermann’s coffee for us ( delicious!) and also has RO drinking water. Amenities are all modern. Beds are comfortable. Lighting in the house is adequate and allows you to adjust to one’s mood ( bright or sublime). Monica is super responsive! Loved it!!

We had a beautiful weekend in Ann Arbor celebrating our son's graduation from the University of Michigan. Our stay at Wan-Hsiang's zen-like home was an integral part of the weekend's success. With the oversized living spaces, comfortable and ample bedding, well equipped kitchen (and coffee/tea bar), games and entertainment, umbrellas at the ready and high-end laundry facilities it really gave us (and our graduate) a reprieve when we needed some down time between the many events. Being only @ 10 minutes from downtown Ann Arbor, yet minutes from grocery stores and restaurants, the location was perfect. The abundance of live plants and fun knickknacks, truly made this AirBNB feel like home. One thing to note: is that there are 4 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen and 1 twin) that are all on the second floor. The stairs leading to the second level are fairly steep, so something to keep in mind if you are traveling with elderly members of your party. All in all, it's a great place to stay in AA!

From the time we pulled up and opened the door to chocolates and socks....the view is absolutely amazing! I can't say enough about this retreat.... I travel a lot and for the first time I could relax without having to clean or anything else during vacation. WE WILL BE BACK GREAT HOST WITH EVERY ACCOMMODATION YOU CAN THINK OF 10_10

Elizabeth’s place was wonderful. It was very comfortable and in a great location. It had everything we needed and she was incredibly responsive whenever I had any questions. I would definitely stay at Elizabeth’s place again!

This was a delightful place and we'd definitely try to stay there again! The hosts were so nice. We had a few questions and we got a rapid, helpful response each time. The place was very neat and clean; the beds were nice and firm. It was very convenient to get to the UMich campus and downtown Ann Arbor. Thank you for sharing your home!

OUTSTANDING STAY and Keri was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had…. Communicative, proactive, warm, and very generous. I felt right at home! The Airbnb was in a nice, quiet neighborhood with easy access to just about all places in Ann Arbor. Would definitely stay again!

I cannot say enough how thankful I am to have found Julie's house. We arrived in Michigan after a 10 hour drive to find that the airbnb we had originally reserved was not one we could stay in. Julie welcomed us into her beautiful home with just a few hours' notice. It was extremely clean, beautiful, and the perfect location for my family. We will definitely stay at her home again when we go back to Michigan. Highly recommend.

This was a perfect spot for our family to land for UM graduation! Plenty of room, beautiful backyard, spacious, all the amenities, including the hot tub which came in handy on a chilly May weekend! Danielle was very communicative - we loved it! Would definitely come back.

Our stay at Laura's Alpha flat was short but so lovely! The neighborhood is very nice and convenient to restaurants, etc. We appreciate all the effort and thoughtfulness that has gone into this Airbnb. The beds were super comfy and the space was spotlessly clean, very spacious and well stocked with everything we could possibly need.

My husband and I were looking for accommodation close to my best friend's wedding venue and home when we discovered Michael and Patti's rental. The place was easy to find, comfortable, and they were wonderful hosts. The mornings were beautiful and peaceful, filled with the sounds of birds. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

This place was everything we needed!!! The location was perfect because it was so close to the Waterloo Hunt Club for our horse show. The inside is recently updated and has everything it listed, even a keurig! This home is on the water and give you assess to the dock for fishing, has a fire pit, beautiful patio and a great grill-eating area including a large picnic table. The 1.5 bathrooms was nice when we were all getting ready in the morning. It’s a quiet area so easy ins and outs. Just overall excellent and so comfortable! Will come back for sure when we have our next horse show!

My stay at Carole’s Motown Oasis was wonderful, choked full of amenities and plenty space to stretch out. It was clean and ready for a peaceful stay. Perfectly equipped for a short or long stay. Plenty of desk space for work and tv equipped in every room. It has a nice walk out patio perfect sunbathing or morning breakfast. All around great stay and better host cant wait to visit again.

Kendra is very nice. My family stayed here for ten days. The room was as described in the photo. It was well furnished with a beautiful garden to sit in and watch the squirrels run around. The location is close a lake and there is a Kroger in five minutes drive.Kendra was very helpful with our living needs. We enjoyed our stay, I would definitely recommend her house and would choose this house again next time.

My sister and I had a peaceful long weekend at Fish Tales. It was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. It was fun to take the kayaks out and just RELAX. The cottage was a short drive to the swim race location at Half Moon lake that we were visiting for. If you are looking for a peaceful spot with beautiful views this is for you,

Our stay was pleasant and peaceful. The home is cozy and neat and gave us such a quaint vibe. Meredith was wonderful, very responsive, helpful and kind. Will definitely stay again.

Our stay was wonderful! I stayed at the cabin for the weekend with friends. We were competing in a horse show in the area and were gone most of the day but I wish we had more time to spend at the campground. The area was beautiful and peaceful by a lake. I would have loved to just spend the entire weekend there and hope to go back with family in the future. There was a lot to do with great amenities. You could go out on the lake with paddle boats or go hiking. The cabin that we stayed in was a good size for four people. We had a great time and would recommend.

Kaylee was a great host. When the first cabin I went to book was already booked, she quickly recommended this one to us which was very helpful because this cabin hadn't shown up on my initial search in the app.

Our second year staying here for a family retreat. It is difficult to find an Airbnb that sleeps 8, but also has room for 8 at the kitchen table and on the sofa, and we are appreciative that this property does. Well stocked and comfortable.

I must say I didn’t get to stay the full time I intended due to a small mishap on my end and when I say Brady was so nice and helpful and fully understanding even refunded me because I couldn’t stay (once again for something on my end) this really restored my hope in humanity! Very professional, kind and easy to communicate with. Would literally respond in seconds when I messaged! I’m Definitely going to book in the summer sometime.

Great location and we love the activities in the cabin. Very comfortable and a short drive to anything in the area.
