A perfect place to escape into nature, visit historic towns and villages, or base yourself to work remotely with easy access to central London.

Black Squirrel Barn is a converted 3 bed 2 bath barn. It is completely self contained so you have your privacy but I am close by to help if necessary. The barn is luxurious yet homely with cosy underfloor heating downstairs. Close by are two lovely pubs with fab food. You can also find a little post office within 5 mins walk. Lots of walks nearby either to the pubs in Little Missenden, Penn woods and Penn Street or further into Old Amersham. Shared use of a large garden and tennis court.

The accommodation comprises of four good-sized, newly decorated rooms, all closed off from the owners who live in the other part of the barn but who are on hand should you need them.

We are located close to the M1, A1, M25 and Luton Airport. We are also conveniently near Harpenden Train station with fast links into Kings Cross St Pancras and Eurostar. Its location makes it the ideal place to stay close to some local places of interest such as St Albans.
