Vacation rentals in Westover

Our 8-person group included older parents, as well as two kids <10, during the most off-season month at Deep Creek, when many area attractions were closed. Along with some stormy spring weather, that meant we were spending a good amount of our trip in the house. And we had an amazing time there. The kids loved the arcade machine, foosball & ping pong table, puzzles, board games and the big TV was great for movies and ballgames in front of the warm fireplace. The grill, firepit and hot tub were easy to use and in great condition - it was reassuring to see the contracted hot tub company come for routine maintenance, indicating it was clean & safe. And the view! We ate at the dining table and gazed out over the lake and hills. The kitchen had all we needed to cook for everyone. Beds/baths were comfy and it was nice to have a set on each floor - our families could have our own spaces, and my parents could stay on the 1st floor to avoid stairs. We loved the house and hope to return!

We enjoyed our stay! The home is in a great location. We had some rain over the course of the stay which made having a roof over the hot tub very helpful. We also liked spending time in the basement with the pool table. Definitely would be interested in staying here again!

This is our 4th year staying at Paddler’s Retreat. We have always enjoyed our time and the hosts are just wonderful. We will be back next year.

We had a great stay. The Host's recommendation of Phil the fishing guide led to a great fishing outing on the lake, including huge catches. Phil was a great fishing guide, helping rookies with the experience. The house was as advertised, with ample room for our family to spread out and find space when the weather turned sour on us. Everything we needed was easily within a 30-minute drive, most within 10 minutes.

The house was excellent. Exactly as described, and exactly what we were looking for during our two week Christmas trip. We would definitely rent again.

The home is named "Logged & Loaded" and it truly is all of that and more. Lovely wooded setting, yet close to all of the necessary amenities. We had our grandboys with us and the game room kept the adults & the boys totally entertained. Of course we had smores over the outdoor firepit. Sleeping arrangements had bedrooms and bath on all three floors, which made it easy for everyone. And TV's everywhere, so I could watch sports while the boys could watch Disney! So much to do in the immediate area, boat ride, hikes, play grounds, waterfalls, bowling, and so much more that we did not have time for. We did not need to bring as many items as we did, because the house has everything, even water bowls for the dogs! And all four beds were very high quality (now I have to buy a new bed for my wife!) The home was special and we will return. The boys call it the "Log House" Thank you Michael & Asal

Perfect ski-in ski-out on down under trail. Not a good ski in ski out for beginners. Beautiful views from all the decks. Functional well stocked kitchen. Great place for fuzzy friends. Solid gates around the kitchen. Very steep steps to loft bedroom.

Michael’s place was the perfect place for our family. Our grandkids loved the pond, hot tub, two fire pits and the other amenities. Several family members are strongly considering his place for future visits to the area. The property was conveniently located near a brewery, grocery stores, shops, hiking trails, etc. Micheal was an excellent host and very responsive! Thanks for a wonderful rental and all the memories it created for the entire family.
