Welcome to our ‘West End Beauty’, situated directly across the road from the Ohope West End Beach (literally a stone’s throw). Enjoy a drink, absolute beach front, on the deck while watching the surfers. Later, stargaze and listen to the waves at night. Take in the stunning views of White Island and Whale Island. And it’s only a short walk to the rocks at the end of the beach. Ohope Beach is voted New Zealand’s most loved beach, and is one of the safest surf beaches in the country.

Stay in our cosy tiny house at Ohiwa Harbour and enjoy the wide open spaces right at our door step. The harbour is a very special place to us and we like to share it with you. Watch the birds, kayak, swim, walk or just let the time go by. Our tiny house is all about simple living in a very beautiful part of the world. There is a shared outdoor toilet and hot shower. You have your own rustic outdoor kitchen with a hand basin, cold water and small camping gas stove.

Activities - swimming, surfing, fishing, yachting, kayaking, golfing... or just chilling out. 5 minute walk to cafe and boutique shops including an art/craft gallery. 10 minutes drive to Whakatane. An amazing coastal walkway very close.

This unique place has a style all its own. Fully refurbished with new floors, and extended solid wooden breakfast bar. Fully self contained with Rimu Queen bed. Can be a perfect getaway for a couple or extended family can stay when you book our main bach with special discount. Lake right across the road for that early morning or evening swim.
