“My partner Dale stayed here on his way to Wellington to Taranaki. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay - he said the room (house) was a really good size the house had thoughtful touches and it was clean and he had everything he needed. Dale didnt meet the owners but they messaged several times through out the stay to make sure he knew directions to Waikawa and anything else he needed. It was in a lovely area and close to Picton - thank you for the warm stay”

“Thanks Jo!!! Your place is Awesome! Private, secure, central location to the ferry, seriously accommodating host. I would certainly say this is the best Airbnb I've stayed in in NZ, and I have had some varied experiences. I am a solo lady traveller so being in a great value place really matters and most importantly the host is a real gem and just lovely to deal with. Thank you! 5 stars!!!”

“This is going to be a special review for a special place and two special hosts. We traveled around New Zealand for 3 months. We stayed in AirBnBs both high end and budget friendly across both the entire South and North islands, THIS WAS ONE OF OUR FAVORITES. It's conveniently close to the Picton ferry, so we were planning to spend a night to catch the ferry the next day. We ended up staying 2 more days. We couldn't leave this place! It's cozy, it has everything you need and the views are STUNNING. You can watch the seals feed on the school of fish in the morning and with floor to ceiling windows, the view from your bedroom, the living room, the whole space is amazing. They had some delicious goodies for us for breakfast and this homemade spirit by our bedside that we had to ask for more to take on for the rest of our trip. We could just sit the entire day staring at the horizon from the view this place has. I don't think you need to look for anything else around this area and just trust these two seasoned travelers on this one!”
