This place was perfect! The sauna and hot tub were so nice and the blue chaise in the upstairs bedroom is unbelievably comfortable. We had such a relaxing stay!

Great spot for a weekend. We used Antonio’s house as a base camp during our stay in bracebridge. Easy to walk into town, nice spot. Each bedroom on its own floor, perfect for privacy

This cozy cottage was perfect! We were in town for a swim meet. About a 15min drive from the pool. It was a very easy check in, we felt right at home and comfortable. Everything we needed and more was available. There are so many beautiful plants. Bed's were very comfortable, lots of room to relax. Very clean!

Beautiful cottage! It was super private and so cozy! The host did an incredible job of staging the place and making it feel homey with lots of fuzzy blankets. The fireplace was awesome! The best vibe for a winter cottage getaway. Place was super clean, and the attention to detail was incredible. Fully stocked kitchen drawers with everything you could possibly need. Washroom was super clean and overall house was great. I would definitely go back! Had the best weekend!

Excellent location, close to Port Carling, but just far enough that it’s secluded and quiet. Renovated main floor is well done. Large back porch shared by trees and dock on the lake are standout features. Great setup for a family vacation.

We had a fantastic stay at this peaceful and well-kept cottage! The space was clean, cozy, and fully equipped for a comfortable getaway. The lake access was a highlight, and we loved spending time by the water and around the firepit. Communication with the host was smooth, and everything was exactly as described. Please note that the cottage is ideal for a maximum of 11 guests due to bed setup and septic system limits. Highly recommended for a relaxing group retreat!

We stayed at the House by the Locks as part of a family vacation in February 2025 and had a fantastic time. This is a unique heritage home that takes "historic character" to a whole new level. It was beautifully furnished, spacious for our party of 6, spotlessly clean, and had a well-equipped kitchen. We used it as home base for doing winter activities at Algonquin and Arrowhead Provincial Parks, and it was a pleasure to return to at the end of the day. Check-in/out was easy, and the host was friendly and responsive. 10/10. Highly recommended!

Kim was really communicative and good about making sure we had everything we needed for the weekend. Easily reached, easy to work with. We spent the weekend fishing/snowmobiling and the location was very good for access to Lake Nipissing. Fishing is always good on the South Shore. Space was spacious, clean, multiple bedrooms. Kitchen well stocked. Everything you need.

we had a great stay at the cottage. my 3 year old grand daughter had a blast. there was a sandy area for her to play and she caught alot of fish from the dock. so did we. absolutely no complaints. we will definitely be booking again and very much looking forward to it. Thanks for a great stay!

Such a quiet and amazing getaway! Jaime-Lee was an amazing host, on our last day there was a storm. He let us check out after the storm had passed! Would definitely recommend his places to stay!

Great location in Huntsville and an easy walk to lots of restaurants and shops. Close enough for a drive to Algonquin Park where we saw moose and beavers. Kitchen included condiments and chairs in the back yard for outdoor relaxation.

Had a lovely time at the Bluedoor Inn! The residence is located in a quiet neighborhood and has the necessities of home as well as some of the luxuries one would see at an inn - all of which made for a relaxing stay. I was able to cook with ease, enjoy the hot tub and explore the charms of South River while I was there. Ronald and Irene are very considerate hosts and are always thinking one step ahead. I would be happy to stay there again anytime I return to the area!

**Family of four with two dogs.** We loved Tami's place! It was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect—less than 10 minutes from restaurants, shopping, and everything in town. Tami was a fantastic host—super responsive and welcoming! The cottage was cozy, inviting, and had plenty of parking. We stayed during a winter storm, so we mostly enjoyed the cottage and played in the snow ❄️ but managed to go out for dinner a couple of times. Bracebridge is a beautiful town, and we loved that it was less than three hours from home!

A Wonderful Extended Stay – Home Away from Home!" I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb for an extended period, and I can honestly say it felt like a true home away from home. From the very beginning, the hosts made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The space itself was perfect for a long-term visit—spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully furnished. It was well-equipped with all the amenities I could possibly need for day-to-day life, from a fully stocked kitchen to a cozy living area to relax after a long day. What made my stay truly exceptional, though, was the hospitality. The hosts were incredibly attentive, always available to answer questions or assist with anything I needed. Their proactive communication and willingness to go above and beyond made me feel truly cared for throughout my entire stay.

Overall stay was wonderful . Its feeling like home so much. So many things were provided in kitchen & fridge to cook. It was great and peaceful place to spend time with nature. Lake view was wonderful. So many activities to do, Specially floatie was awesome. We enjoyed a lot. very private place. Best place for whom who wants to relax and enjoy in water. Air conditioner and Microwave would have been better. The host was very helpful and responsive. The boating was also very fun! The experience was very splendid!

This was the best Air BnB we’ve stayed at. Sandor was kind, responsive and helpful. The cottage itself was stocked with everything we could’ve needed, the surroundings were beautiful and we had a great trip! If you book, try Yeti Pizza it was delicious!

We stayed with a bunch of family members to enjoy some winter activities. Great place, clean and had a lot of fun with the ping pong table. The house is right by the snowmobile trail which was perfect. The only thing was that the basement was very cold, but we went and bought some space heaters and then we were ok!

Tom and Jane are amazing hosts. They are very responsive and so hospitable. They were very accommodating in our request for a later check out. The cottage is very spacious and spotless clean, perfect for a large family. Everything was well thought out. The cottage comes with all the essentials. All you need is food and clothes. The walkout basement leads to the backyard and the lake. Our group throughly enjoyed the new hot tub. The basement washroom is newly renovated, large and bright. The beds are very comfortable. There's also a karaoke machine and board games. Our group thoroughly our stay at the cottage. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and perfect getaway. We hope to be back in the summer and swim in the lake. Thank you Tom and Jane for being such wonderful hosts.

Amazing place to visit!!!!

My family loved the cottage. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Cottage and linens were clean. Milos and Ana were responsive and provided tips on water quality through the week. The dock and lake are not accessible for those with mobility concerns. There is a picture showing some of the stairs so factor that into your decision to visit. Fishing is fantastic in the lake and most of our fish were caught off the dock. Swimming was wonderful off the dock. We saw a lot of wildlife-hawks, herons, frogs, a turtle off the dock. It was the perfect location to get away from the city and spend time together as a family.
